Teh character deviates from RL obviously. IRL he isn't idealistic at all. I was going to use him as a source of vulgar economics' and philosophical memes and komissar propaganda and to water down codexian defeatist whining.

Sob I was going to portrait as a... well, like IRL, actually, a drunkard thiefy quartermaster.

You can kill either of/both characters or alter them freely according to your needs. They're more of a cliches and can be easily replaced.

It took me two RL days to fine-tune three starting dwarves (Grimwulf, Azira, Kalin). I decided that I won't do it for any other dwarf, coz it's a massive pain in the arse. Dwarf editing can only be done via DFHack plugin - calling it "unintuitive" would be the understatement of the year.

One of these values (121 in total - and these are only appearance-related) determines the chin size. Okay. Now I have to to find it by trial and error to remove the "deeply recessed chin" Grimwulf had at the start. Err, do I increase it or decrease it? What if I input something like "1000"? Oh, the game crashes. WELL THEN.

But then one of you shows up and demands to be VORACIOUSLY GAY. What is wrong with you, Codex?

If you die before romancing Kalin or at least Lagole Lon, I will be royally pissed. And also, my patience for these things ran out, so NO OTHER DORF will be edited this way ever again! You can't always get what you want. Reinhardt can confirm.

In other news, I noticed ERYFKRAD wasn't in the Red List for some reason. One would guess he is waiting for a suitable dwarf. But I know him well enough - all he needs is a dwarf with abysmal aesthetic sensitivity. If dwarves were crafting Russian RPGs, ERYFKRAD would play all of them. And had a fucking blast doing so.

He strikes me as a sane dwarf, which is a rarity here in KKK. Quiet, but not a loner type like Tindrli or Sukhavati. More like an observer, you know? Those who take part in parties and conversations, but don't talk as much as they listen.

I didn't know we already had some BINS! We shall have to make even more BINS than I thought to store them all.

Now that our population has expanded greatly (srs, how the hell did we get to 50+ people in year 1?) I believe it's time to start implementing our first 5-year plan focusing on increasing industrialization. We may have some minor food issues but that should take a backseat to developing our industry. Forges by the end of the next season! Massive BIN exports to fuel our growing industry! May the smoke from charcoal burning fill the skies and lungs of our proud workers!



It is also high time to create a police force to crack down on dissidents. Other than the industrialization and BIN focus, my plan is to ingratiate myself with Kalin by subtly using my influence to help him move from the stressful and frustrating jobs he's been forced to handle and allow him to do what he was born to do: bash people with a hammer.
