I'm pretty certain we've people experienced with buttsex here. We also have furries and tranny-lovers. What does that leave for this totally incomprehensible adult experience? Apart from the ability to sodomize whomever, however, whenever he wants.

Ah, I know. Necrophilia? Bestiality?

You underestimate the Codex.

If they do choose to pull the plug on the project and/or release the current version with no future updates, I'd be willing to work with some folks to finish the job.
But are you unwilling to now because of the "modder's code?" That's the question.

Well, I'd need help because I'm not really a script/texture/dialog person. I can handle engine bugs, crashes and debugging for info on how stuff works. If someone started working on it, I wouldn't be against joining in. Granted, I'm already working on Alpha Centauri unofficial patch but I wouldn't mind starting another co-current project. Qwinn and I agreed to wait a year or so before doing another PST Fixpack release so that's been put on hold. Most of the engine stuff left for PST is minor and has already been fixed just needs polish and testing.

Also any of the fixes I would do wouldn't be anything TG has ever done since they refuse to modify the exe on flaky legal grounds. I bet if you contacted Lucas Arts / Obsidian and explained that any modifications were only bug fixing they would give the ok. Whole point of not modding the exe is to prevent copy protection circumvention which at this point doesn't matter. It's more likely they don't have someone knowledgeable in assembly or RCE to sort the stuff out.

As it has been for the past two years. This latest publicity stunt only shows that nothing has changed, and that nothing is going to change in the foreseeable future.
No; They've announced that 1.0b11 is coming soon and that afterwards, there are only 2 builds until public release. Just because you're arrogant & ignorant doesn't mean the rest of the world is.
And how do you know this? Because T-G told you so? I'm sorry, Ferc, but when it comes to honesty, T-G's track record is less than stellar. It's this lack of integrity that people are bitching about, BTW, not the fact that they haven't released the mod yet.

No; The number is shrinking due to people's lack of patience.
No, the number is shrinking because more and more people are sick and tired being deliberately deceived.

LA rushed TSL for a December 2004 release. As a result, many things got cut from the game. And, now, during Team Gizka's project to restore most of the cut content, people want to rush TSLRP's release? Irony 101, anyone?
Like I said, this is not about T-G's ponderous, snail's-pace progress. It's about them lying to people about said progress.

Ah, the guilt-trip attempt. I'm sorry, Ferc, but this is a case where repeated blue-balling lead to rape. Does the blue-balling justify the act of rape? Nope. Do we feel sorry for the victim, though? Well, I don't.
Nope; It wasn't meant as a guilt-trip, but as a statistic. I guess some people see things as they choose to see them.
No, you were trying to take the high road, just like DI and j7 do whenever anyone questions T-G's motives and actions. It doesn't work when the evidence of malfeasance is this obvious.

Have you been huffing gas again? That stuff will rot your brain, kid. Getting your jollies by repeatedly deceiving people is evil. Period.

Oh, and you're going to find the T-G thread over at LucasForums has been deleted. Not locked, but deleted, so the hype machine no longer has a spotlight there, and I for one hope that it stays that way.
TG thread was deleted, eh? Nay, just not on page 1 as it was yesterday.
Damn. My bad. Wishful thinking on my part. But at least yours and j7's continued attempts to hype TSLRP over at Lucasforums have been thwarted. We don't need that bullshit over there.

Let me tell you a concept presented in one tutorial concerning making a mod:
When presenting your estimated due date to the public, DON'T. You should never tell people before you have even begun work on a mod when you are planning to release it, no matter how much they beg to know, don't say anything. Giving a due date causes troubles, it gives the public a false sence of where you are standing mod wise(they will think you are almost done). And it will cause you to be obligated to rush your mod to get it out on the time you said. Rushing a mod is ALWAYS bad and prevents a successful completion because you almost always leave something out. So if someone asks just say, its done when its done.
Yup, and T-G has been exploiting this and other elements of the "modder's code" for about four years now, which is one of several reasons why quite a few of the old-school modders at Holowan despise them as much as they do.

I bet TG leaked the mod intentionally so they could find a reason to stop working on it. It's even worse than 9/11.

Almost painfull to behold this. When you make people wait for years, then promise to release something big in two weeks and then give them such a shitty trailer it really says something about you as a person and how you think about your "fans". Then again, when one reads that forum you can't really blame him.

I hate victims who respect their torturer.

Nope. Done both of those.

You can also write incest on a bed full of strawberry jam off.

I figured that you would react to reason this way, Ferc. All one has to do is read your "Mission Vao as PC for TSL" WIP and take note of how you repeatedly ignored anyone who stated the obvious in pointing out that your model looked absolutely nothing like her (it didn't, BTW) to make an accurate assessment of your grasp on reality. :D

Well, I tried, regardless. :|

I really need to know what counts as incomprehensible experience now. Were you like a soldier or something and killed someone and is now playing the "you don't know what it's like 'cause you havn't done it" card.

ooooh, or maybe you had a near death experience and act more enlightend because of it.

I guess you could play the loved one died in my arms bullshit, but dead is dead and most people know a dead person. Some even know a dead person who they loved.

Maybe no one will ever be able to guess it because anything we can think of we obviously comprehend it.

It really boggles the mind; at the very least it boggles my mind.

So is there a mod for an RPG to let me sodomize whomever, wherever, however I want? That's what I want to know from this.

The funniest thing about it all? The amount of bugs remained unchanged.

But... but... Dashus said that count doesn't mean anything as they don't update Mantis!

There is now way they are going to release this even close to bug-free. No fucking way.

The process of patching Arcanum by Drog proofs it, whitout an open beta they won't make it.
