Weird, I thought that you would invest more in diplomacy skills, considering your character is not very able in combat.

I took bluff. But it wasn't in use. :(

Kharn... Do you know any interesting rape movies besides Lilya 4-Ever?

Who the heck are you? All calling me Kharn and knowing of the level of disturbment Lilya 4-Ever gives me. Great movie, completely unwatchable, eeeegh.
From what I remember, I was pretty underwhelmed by it. Mostly because I haven't found the protagonist sympathetic. But it was 4 years since I watched it. Maybe I'm more empathetic towards aliens now... Or maybe not.

I don't really do exploitation, but A Serbian Film is as exploitation as you can get. Watch it and, I dunno, Salo, in between bouts of this LP, and list the similarities! Hurray for exploitation schlock!
I'm not very fond of extreme stuff, especially snuff. What I find most interesting in that topic is the... pain of a sexually abused/raped girl. Preferably limited to emotional pain, not some kind of hardcore beating.
I thought you may know more movies on this topic.

Anyway, how do you rate the mod compared to the movie? Does it provoke similar feelings in you?

That brings up a good point.

Vico said her mother jumped down to her death.
But Skirt Chaser said she killed herself in a differrent manner

HMmmmmmm?

That conclusion cannot be ruled out. :salute:

Chapter 17: Freedom

I begin my climb up from the shore. The unending rain begin to bite into my confidence and lit my uncertainty. Within the city walls, I am always confident of the safe places...the hide out, the warm bed in the Bear's Pit, the shops, the temples, and the sewers passage...

01.jpg

Out here, there's only darkness and the forest. I am totally out of my element.

02.jpg

The lone lighthouse does not promise any safety for the moment I stepped close to its doorway, strangle garbled voices can be heard from within. One that I've never heard before in my life.

03.jpg

Monsters? I know not. Yet I prayed in His Name and prepare myself for the worst.

04.jpg

As soon as I stepped into the lighthouse, I was greeted by the sight of two brutish creatures, larger than any man I've seen. Brown, pale skins, and ugly tusks decorate their features. They stood from their camp fire and charged at me.

05.jpg

I unhook my bag of caltrops and let loose its contents on the floor. The creatures howled in pain as their bare feet felt the puncture by the seconds. I stabbed the one armed with a morning star, critically wounding it before it could place a healing potion to its lips. With a howl of pain, it collapsed, fresh wounds continue to bleed from the glinting metal pin pricks on the floor. The other creature followed. I wiped the sweat from my brow and grabbed what I could before leaving the lighthouse. There is nothing of value in there.

06.jpg

I must find a way back to the city.

07.jpg

His Light will guide my way.

08.jpg

Hours later, a signpost offered hope. Betancuria is near!

09.jpg

Hope has a way to toy with your feelings...

10.jpg

Ahh. I could not suppress my moan of despair when I realize the bridge has collapsed. I won't be able to make the jump. I have to find another way back.

11.jpg

Tired and cold, I seek shelter at a nearby abandoned ruins.

12.jpg

This must once have been an inn. Looks like a safe place to rest.

13.jpg

Hours later, I resume my journey, away from the bridge, hoping to find another way back.

14.jpg

The forest continue to threaten me with every step. Hungry wolves emerge from the forest, attacking in packs.

15.jpg

The foul beasts fell to my blade. I sighed and continue to follow the northern roads.

16.jpg

No good. The road north leads to Sargoza, the Kingdom of Min Toras. I really need to head south, back to Betancuria...but the bridge has collapsed....I ponder my options.

17.jpg

I can leave Betancuria.. and put everything behind me? Nobody will ever know of the Princess outside of Betancuria. Perhaps, things are different in Sargoza, without the Dhorn and the ravages of war. I could start a new life with what I have right now. It's not much, but I'll make do. Perhaps a life without taste for revenge, and murder?

Do I want this? I asked myself as I gazed at the short sword in my right hand.

I look at the sky and recalled Master Kelten's words. He wants me to think about this, and not just for a second. Do I really want to return to Betancuria? I closed my eye, muttered a silent word of thanks to the masters who taught me the lessons. I...I have made my choice. I open my eyes and take a step forward, smiling.

I never asked for this.

18.jpg

Thank you.

End Music

You can take everything I have,
You can break everything I am,
Like I'm made of glass,
Like I'm made of paper.

Ohhh

Go on and try to tear me down.
I will be rising from the ground,
Like a skyscraper,
Like a skyscraper.

Fixed, remember this must be EDGY all the time. Also,
 for including multiple endings, "fake" ones included. But knowing the game, she was probably captured by the Dhorn and raped to death anyways.

Good ending. There's little motivation for her to do otherwise, to be honest.

I'm definitely torn in this. On one side, there's life in constant dangers but there's sufficient motivation to stick around and avenge your loss, reclaim your kingdom.

On the other is a slightly peaceful resolution. The princess cast aside her past and start a new, uncertain future. It's strange why Valine would include this, but I gotta say it fits.

While his assholery was especially memorable, I'd argue that the guy who tried to strangle and burn Aisha deserves an even higher place on her shit list.

Also assume vico would wipe the floor with the PC at current level (and would be designed that way) and if you powergamed to victory the mod would break and/or every other friendly npc would go aggro.

Yeah, but let's look at it from the Family perspective: losing the Queen piece like that will cost them the game, I bet.

Let's....not abandon them in the next update. :)

Chapter 18: The Dark Castle

I can't leave like this. They're waiting for me. Master Nathan, Caron, Chella, and the rest. I can't just run away from the past. Even though I hated Vico..I owe it to everyone else to stay and fight alongside them against the Dhorn. That is probably what my father would've wanted.

01.jpg

I turn away from the path and notice a small dirt path leading eastwards. I decided to try my luck by following it.

02.jpg

It's...a castle?

03.jpg

The gate seems to be barred from the other side. I knock on it, hoping there are some helpful occupants within. Perhaps they know another way to the city. After a couple of moments, there's a gruff, male voice on the other side of the door.

'Yeah? Who's there?'

ai.jpg
My name is Tina. I'm lost. Could you give me directions, please?

'Hold it where you are.' I can hear footsteps walking away.

A minute later, a face appears in a hole on the ceiling above me, peering at me, and I can hear hushed voices speaking.

'Ah, look, it's just a lone girl.'

'Heheh, she's not gonna be alone for too long...'

'Yeah. Let's get her in.'

LP comment: Looks like we've found some help, after all. Things are looking up for Princess. :)

The gate opens, and I'm being dragged inside.

LP comment: Man, they're SO eager to help.

04.jpg

Two armed men with grim faces are waiting on the other side of the gate. They eye me up and down. I glance around, too. Oh my. This place really is a ruin...

ban1.jpg
And who do we have here?
ai.jpg
My name's Tina.
ban1.jpg
And what are you doing out here in the woods, all by yourself?
ai.jpg
I'm on my way to Betancuria.
ban2.jpg
She doesn't look very dangerous.
ban1.jpg
Hehe, no. Not really. But I like her tits.

The man studies my breasts.

LP comment: Well, if we play nice..maybe he can give directions.

ai.jpg
Could you give me directions, perhaps?
ban2.jpg
Have you come to us because you're lonely, little girl? Have you been dreaming of a fat cock inside you when you put your fingers up your slit at night?

LP comment: Very subtly done, Valine.

ai.jpg
Don't talk to me like that!
ban2.jpg
Hehe. I promise you, we'll service you nicely.
ban1.jpg
We should take her to the boss, first.
ban2.jpg
Right. You. Come.

The man grabs my elbow.

ai.jpg
Take your filthy hands off me!
ban1.jpg
Or what?

The man gives me a challenging look. I glance around at the castle ramparts, noticing the two archers above...I'm outnumbered. I have to wait for a chance to escape.

ai.jpg
Just don't touch me, okay?
ban1.jpg
Yeah, whatever. Just come.

The two men guide me into a large tower in the center of the compound where more people are gathered. One pair is busy shooting arrows at an archery target, another group sits at a large table, drinking ale. They all have one thing in common, though. They look wild, and unkempt.

LP comment: Wild men. Rawr. Oh, if you're wondering of the pictures, they're just googled images of 'convicted rapists'

05.jpg

Everyone curiously turns their heads in my direction when they see me enter the building. My two escorts direct me to a strong-looking man who wears an eyepatch over his left eye. Their leader, as it seems.

leader.jpg
Yes? What's that?

The man points at me.

ban1.jpg
We found this buxom girl outside. She was knocking on the gate, so we let the poor thing in.

The man looks me up and down, his face not exactly friendly.

ai.jpg
Greetings, good Sir.

I try to be polite. He frowns back at me.

ai.jpg
My name is Tina. I was lost in the woods. Perhaps you could give me directions?
ban2.jpg
Harr, how stupid is that? The road's only a couple of feet away. Hehehe.
leader.jpg
Yeah...

The man studies me thoughtfully.

ai.jpg
I know where the road is, of course. I'm looking for a way to Betancuria. The bridge to the south has collapsed.
leader.jpg
And what is your business in Betancuria?
ai.jpg
I'm a kitchen girl. At the Bear's Pit Inn.
leader.jpg
Hm. *The man strokes his chin.* You do not exactly look like a kitchen girl to me.

He glances at my short sword, shield and chain shirt.

ai.jpg
These are not my working clothes, of course.
ban1.jpg
You think she's a spy?
leader.jpg
Could be. Whatever. *He shrugs.* But I don't want to feed yet another prisoner. Slit her throat. Then sink her in the moat.

I blinked.

ai.jpg
What?
ban2.jpg
We could have a little fun with the chick before we dump her.

I eye the bandits around me. At least five of them...escape is going to be VERY hard.

ban1.jpg
Yeah, it's been a while since we've had entertainment like that.

The other man at my side runs his hand over my bottom, grinning.

ai.jpg
Don't you dare!
leader.jpg
I don't care what you do with her. Just see to it that she doesn't leave the castle alive.
ban1.jpg
Hehe, no worries!

Suddenly I feel a sharp pain at the back of my head, and everything turns black.

06.jpg

When I regain my senses, I'm on the ground. My head throbs and hurts badly. I stifle a groan. Somebody must have knocked me unconscious.

LP comment: No narration about how hard Aisha's nipples are when she comes into contact with the cold, hard floor? No abrasions of her slit on the surface at all? Valine's getting sloppy!

I turn my head slightly and glance about, my eyes only reluctantly focusing on what's going on around me. I'm not alone! Seems like two of the guards aare fumbling around with a nearby wooden device. There's also a cage with a large animal inside. And a weapon rack, not too far away from where I am. That's good to know! Oh, one of the men is cussing loudly.

ban1.jpg
Ouch! Damn! Fucking latch won't open!
ban2.jpg
Let me try...
ban1.jpg
Don't break it.

It's really difficult to concentrate on anything. My head hurts and won't stop spinning.

ban2.jpg
Ah! There we go!

I focused and willed myself to reach out for a weapon and prepare to fight. I carefully move my arm towards the weapon rack, I grab the short sword and rose to my feet!

07.jpg

ban1.jpg
Hey! The chick's already awake.
ban2.jpg
Get the bitch!

This will be a short fight if I make a go at it, I need to flee for now. Recover my gear, and fight them on my own terms.

08.jpg

I bolted for the door, slipping into the midnight rain outside.

09.jpg

The guards lost trace of me in the dark and I made my way into the inner castle building.

10.jpg

The sound of snoring can be heard on the first floor. I picked the nearby chest and was rewarded with three flasks of healing potions.

11.jpg

The four guards are fast asleep. They didn't expect a prisoner to break out from within. I pressed my palm on his mouth and slit the first bandit's throat.

12.jpg

And another, another, and another. Finally, I stripped them of their gear and put on their studded leather armor.

13.jpg

The nearby shield rack provides me with a large shield.

14.jpg

I can either go upstairs, or downstairs. I choose the latter. Hoping to find more prisoners to aid me.

15.jpg

I sneak past the guard and pick the cell's lock.

16.jpg

I closed the cell door behind me and examine the man before me. This man seems to be a prisoner of the bandits. I would guess he's in his late twenties or early thirties. He's clad in a leather armor and thick boots.

an.jpg
You're not a bandit.
ai.jpg
No, I'm not.
an.jpg
Thanks a lot for your help.

He smiles at me.

ai.jpg
Who are you, may I ask?
an.jpg
I am Anden, a woodsman. I was on my way back to Betancuria when I was caught by this lot. They feigned a broken wheel on their wagon, and when I bent down to examine the damage, they must've knocked me unconscious.
ai.jpg
Evil bandits.
an.jpg
Scoundrels. *He nods.* May I ask what your name is, sweet lady?
ai.jpg
Uh...Tina.
an.jpg
*He snickers.* If you don't want to tell me, you'll have your own reasons. And what brings you to this castle?
ai.jpg
I'm lost...so when I spotted this castle, I was hoping to find somebody who could give me directions.
an.jpg
Oh, really. *He studies me again.* Hm. You're not ranger, are you? At least you're not in the guild.
ai.jpg
No, I'm not.
an.jpg
*He nods.* You don't look like you spent a lot of time in the woods. You lack that certain earthy touch.
ai.jpg
I'm more of a city gal, I guess.
an.jpg
First time traveling trough wilderness all by yourself>
ai.jpg
Yes, and hopefully the last time.
an.jpg
So, you're headed south, you said?
ai.jpg
Yes, back to Betancuria.
an.jpg
I should report to my guild as well. What do you say? Shall we travel to the city together? I wouldn't mind company.
ai.jpg
The road south is impassable. The bridge across the canyon has collapsed.
an.jpg
I know. It happened a couple of weeks ago. The bridge was badly damaged during the war between the Dhorn and Betancuria, and afterwards it was just a question of time before it came down. I hope the Dhorn are going to repair it soon.
ai.jpg
Is there any other way across the canyon.
an.jpg
*He nods.* Why, yes, there is. East of here lies an ancient barrow with a large system of caverns to the south. You will eventually reach the south rim of the canyon if you proceed through the barrow. I'd be happy to show you the way, M'lady.
ai.jpg
Sure, that would be nice.
an.jpg
But first, we ought to take care of the bandits. Do you have a spare weapon to lend me, by chance?

I hand him my twin short swords.

17.jpg

LP comment: Anden is a standard ranger, at level 6 he is pretty beefy and is key to surviving most encounters in the forests. He's completely optional if you can find the barrow on your own.

18.jpg

With Anded equipped with arms, we proceed out of the cell and make short work of the lone guard.

19.jpg

an.jpg
Well fought, M'lady.

Anden inclines his head.

ai.jpg
You too.
an.jpg
You will have to tell me how you learned to handle yourself so well in combat. Not to mention those other skills of yours. *He smiles.*
ai.jpg
I've had a couple of really good teachers who taught me well.
an.jpg
Well, you certainly had no trouble getting the door to my cell open. Believe me, I have tried for hours, alas to no avail.
ai.jpg
I can show you how to pick locks, if you like.
an.jpg
*He chuckles.* I don't believe I've got the talent for that. Besides, it is not something one of my profession should engage in.
ai.jpg
As you wish.
an.jpg
But it is most fortunate indeed that fate brought you here today.
ai.jpg
It was pure chance, really.
an.jpg
Who knows?

He smiles as we make my way up the stairs.

20.jpg

Uh oh. Looks like the scream of the guard awaken the leader from his slumber!

21.jpg

I command Anden to dive in for the kill while I flank the two.

22.jpg

At the last moment, I reveal my position and drove my sword into the leader's back, killing him.

23.jpg

The other brigand followed suit. Our search for more hostiles within the castle proved fruitless, the halls are cleared, and I've recovered my belongings in a locked chest. It's time to clean the ramparts.

24.jpg

I passed my chain shirt to Anden and picked up a light crossbow. I'll shoot from a distance while Anden strike at close range!

25.jpg

The plan worked perfectly, as the guard dogs are slaughtered one by one.

26.jpg

The archer on the ramparts followed suit. Slain by my bolts.

27.jpg

They're no match to our tag team.

28.jpg

Dawn is approaching, a dead man's corpse reminded me of the cruelty of these brigands. My gaze turned at the small building where I escaped from earlier. It's time to finish this.

29.jpg

The two bandits could not withstand our onslaught and succumb to our blades.

30.jpg

an.jpg
Looks like this was the last of them. Excellent. I hope this will make the woods a bit safer again. For a while, at least. I will tell my guild to send scouts, just to be sure. It is really a shame how bold bandits get these days.
ai.jpg
They won't harm anybody again.
an.jpg
True enough. Well, let us make our way to Betancuria, shall we?

I nodded my agreement and surveyed the room for any valuables.

31.jpg

The nearby crate unveils healing potions and first aid kids. I spy a lone dog in the cage, a sad fate. Without the bandits around, it will starve to death. I decided to break its cage down.

32.jpg

The mastiff slowly walks up to me, wiggling its tail, sniffing the ground around my feet.

ai.jpg
Good boy.

I pat the dog. It glances up at me for a moment, then starts sniffing my feet, prods my legs with its cold nose.

ai.jpg
Ack!

I back off in shock. The dog follows me, wiggling its tail and jumps up on me!

ai.jpg
Ack!

I try to fend it off. For a couple of minutes we tumble around, the mastiff jumping up on me then again sniffing my groin, trying to get its head between my legs. Finally it seems to give up, though it stays close by my side, wiggling its short tail and glancing up at me.

ai.jpg
Bad dog!

I glare at the mastiff. It sits down on its haunches and gives me a curious look.

ai.jpg
You really shouldn't do that, you know.

The dog starts sniffing my feet again. Hm. I don't think I'll get rid of it that easily...

33.jpg

LP comment: The Dog is basically a basic fighter, with decent Hp to be a cannon fodder. And no, you can't fuck the dog. If you don't resist enough, it'll cum on the princess's thigh.

34.jpg

The sky brightens as we emerge from the small building. I hit the switch to lower the draw bridge and leave the dead bandits' castle behind.

35.jpg

an.jpg
I must speak with you.
ai.jpg
What is it, Anden?
an.jpg
We ought to stick to the shore south of the castle, M'lady. The barrow is an hour or so to the east, deep in the woods.
ai.jpg
Maybe we should find a place to rest first, Anden.
an.jpg
We could probably rest at the abandoned inn to the south, if that is your wish.
ai.jpg
Yes, let's do so.

We head towards to the abandoned inn. The mastiff keeps following on my heels, sniffing my bottom every now and then. The road to Betancuria doesn't seem so lonely anymore.

Great LP, RK.

I take it you're LPing the sequel as well?

We're not even half way done with Part One module.

This is pretty epic length module, worth $5 on DLC market if it's for sale actually. Even most DLC pale in comparison to this. :salute:
