Three rookies take up new callsigns.
Team Potato cautiously prepares to land near the Very Large UFO.
They are led by Captain Spider.
Gondolin discovers a hostile on his camera feed.
He also spots an alien hover-disc. And the massively huge UFO.
Golgepapaz spots another Sectoid.
He takes care of the gray alien.
And of the one spotted by Gondolin.
After eklektyk soften up the alien hovertank, Merk finished it off.
Then it went boom.
A Sectoid decided to investigate the hover-disc's fate.
Roxorowicz showed it the folly of the idea.
RK47 spots...
...and kills another gray.
Gondolin's camera feed reveals another hovertank.
Jaedar Mk3 gives it a taste of his rocket launcher. It promptly goes boom.
One more Sectoid spotted. It's a difficult shot...
...but Merk makes it!
There's no end to them!
Well, there is. It's called a Laser Rifle
Merk spots...
...and golgepapaz wrecks an alien cyber-hover-disc.
The Alien Leaders begin their work. Golgepapaz panics and Merk begins shooting in a frenzy!
The Aliens take control of Merk! He shoots golgepapaz, who becomes unconscious!
Toastboy spots a Sectoid trying to sneak up on our tank.
The idea doesn't end well for the gray alien.
Sergiu65 stuns a mind-controlled Merk.
Sergiu65 manages to revive Merk, but the fumes from the cyber-disc's explosion make him pass out again.
Sergiu65 panics at the sight of this.
The aliens take control of Sergiu65!
Roxorowicz stuns him.
Another Sectoid tried to sneak up on the tank.
Gondolin brought the turret-mounted cannon to bear and killed the gray creature.
Eklektyk spots one more hostile.
He disposes of it. It appeared to be holding a very large weapon.
RK47 spotted yet another one...
...and promptly shot it.
Golgepapaz panics!
Mistaking the panic for alien control, RK47 goes berserk and shoots the Sargeant! RIP Golgepapaz
As Gondolin steers his tank into the UFO, his camera feed reveals two hostiles in the darkness on the upper floor. He retreats.
The Aliens panic Merk and RK47!
An unarmed alien is found standing right in front of Gondolin's tank. How convenient.
After killing it, Gondolin again scouts the UFO's interior a bit.
Roxorowicz drops his heavy weapon in favor of equipment better suited to storming UFOs.
The aliens panic RK47 into dropping his weapons. Thank the God-Emperor for small favors!
They also manage to take control of Merk, but he's harmless. After his last failure to resist their mind rape attempts he picked up only a stun rod.
JoKa sees a sinister shadow on the UFO's uppermost floor.
And the Sectoid is no more!
Hello there, little guy.
Good bye, little guy. The situation could have been more perfect for eklektyk only if he could shoot the Sectoid to the back of it's head.
Merk comes to his panicked senses.
Roxorowicz spots...
...and kills a Sectoid.
Merk is under alien control again.
Eklektyk spots a Sectoid armed with a massive weapon.
He kills it. 'It's the only way to be sure.'
Toastboy spots two more aliens. One is unarmed...
...and the other is now dead.
Next, toastboy spots and kills...
...two unarmed Sectoids!
The mental attacks against Merk and Sergiu65 suddenly cease.
It is clear where the final alien is hiding. And since it didn't come out yet, it must be a cyber-disc...
Sergiu65 bravely volunteers to flush the alien machine out. He approaches the door with a satchel of high explosives in each hand...
It is a cyber-disc. The alien machine dispatches Sergiu65 as he is about to throw the high explosive packs at it. RIP Sergiu65
The explosives take out the alien hovertank, ending the mission.
Merk is promoted to replace the fallen goglepapaz. Congratulations Merk
Another of EurCOM's soldiers takes up a callsign.
Roxorowicz is granted his promised armour. But we're pretty well off after that Very Large UFO mission. Maybe we'll start mass-producing sets of the armour?
Out of all the countries on the Council of Founding Nations, NIGERIA decided to back the aliens. Well, good riddance!
An alien base, eh? We shall have to destroy this installation as fast as possible!
Despite Nigeria's treachery, our funding skyrockets!
Also, did you notice? No end of the month terror attack
Bee intercepts the UFO.
Since PotatoCOM handled the Very Large UFO astheir second mission in a row, KwaCOM will now be taking care of land missions for a while, even if it means going to Syberian tundra and taiga!

Most definitely you should do this. Even if not mass-production, then at the very least personal sets for the high-ranking officers - we must do everything to preserve their combat skills and experience, I guess.
Also, why, unlike with the Korenzel's LP, there are no newspapers here? Are your shopping skills rusty or what, people? May I remind you that sloth is a mortal sin?

Shooting down my comrades in arms for a promotion, excellent.
I think four Sectoids were unarmed, which would confirm UFOpaedia's data: a Superhuman difficulty Battleship should contain 1 Commander and 3 Leaders. And yes, I've seen some Heavy Plasma's lying around on the uppermost floor.
The funny thing is, I only noticed that psionic aliens drop their weapons after Korenzel pointed out such behaviour in his TFTD LP. Never noticed it during any of my earlier playthroughs.
