Codex Diversity League might have some trouble getting off the ground. I think 4 or 5 people were playing today, that plus RK would make 5 or 6, and the bare minimum I can imagine a tiny tiny league or tournament being is 8 teams. It'd need to find 2-3 more people minimum, preferably more. That might be tough.

I mean I guess I could install Blood Bowl, try to figure out how to play, and get brutally reamed in a league right after starting, but that has uh... limited appeal.

I'd join in but Blood Bowl is way too time-consuming (also you guys scare me with your high-level tactics and your metas)

Weakling. That's exactly how I started, and furthermore, I even started with GOBLINS in said league.

Eh, I've had a lot of fun (and wins) playing goblins :) Except against Dwarves. Ugh. If you ever get any then Ag 4 goblins are exceedingly effective.

Must be harder now you can't get star player trolls mind. Always hungry/stupid really aren't calculated to help with goblin throwing plays.

Most people who have been playing are pr new to the game, less than 10 matches in their lives. With the exception of RK it's very much the suck league.

Fagsalom: sup fauxmetal
Fagsalom: you play bb?
Hoaxmetal: not really
Hoaxmetal: have it though
Fagsalom: install it
Fagsalom: Codex Diversity league forming
Hoaxmetal: I gonna get raped
Hoaxmetal: have played like 3-4 matches
Beercän: most of us suck anyway
Fagsalom: all of us suck

But yeah, time is an issue, and joking aside that's the real reason I'm not playing.

Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
It's not time as much as constrain : A BB League only takes 2h/week (which is pretty reasonable compared to the average time I spend on a new game that obsesses me). The problem is that you have to plan the date in advance : I would like to play in a league again, but with my timezone being Asia, there is no way I can get a convenient time outside of week end (which is even less convenient for me). The problem with people new to Blood Bowl is that they don't always stick until the end of the league.

I have the same issue, being in Beijing (and soon I'll be back in Seoul for a while, arguably even worse time-wise). Somehow RK gets around being in Singapore in a mostly kwa+euro league, but I imagine it requires him to play at odd times of day.

I assume RK47 is fueled by this, allowing him the energy for BB mayhem at all hours.

Actually to be serious about it, I only play on Friday night - Sunday.
Having no spouse, girlfriend or social life helps too.
And no babies.
Or dogs.
Or no life.

Another fairly nooby f13er bites the dust. Opening the turn with a 1die without block, that is going to frenzy into a -2dice block is not a good play kids.

Managed to give one of my stormvermin a td too, so now he is prime for being leveled by an mvp.

:mca: Well done, now let's await their reaction to their supposed veteran once again beaten by an unknown newcomer.

Well, after a practice session with RK, I do believe I have set a new personal best. Or is it worst? Not quite sure to be honest...

I like how much the narrative here reminds me of frequenting sports-blogs/forums for NFL or soccer. Same kind of investment, same kind of feeling of disrespect on coverage ("they just got lucky!"), funny stuff

I keep forgetting which team is which tho, like "ARE YOU SAYING THAT NOT ONLY IS IAINC NOT RUNNING RINGS, BUT MEGRIM ISN'T OBVIOUSLY AMAZING?!?!" I dunno coz I forgot which teams those guys run!
