I waited so long for this game, waited, played for half a year. The graphics are on top, but the content is unrealistically small and boring, everything turns into work.
I think Elyon and project BBQ will be better than this game. Dunno about blue protocol

Yeah, that tends to happen when you look forward to a game for over a year, I suspect dreams help fuel it even more.

Still waiting for EU release...
I'm not even sure it's coming despite the amazon thing. This is the post I found on reddit regarding japanese server

and it seems theres mainly bots playing now on jp server. i cant even do abyss dungeons anymore. and i cant even thing about doing raids as i simply dont find anyone. longest raid search queue on a sunday afternoon was 5 hours and then gave up... with resources not being worth much anymore and no possibility of doing the main gold source anymore the interest is dropping quickly... they should let us solo those dungeons at least but thats probably difficult with the mechanics... and that problem will get a lot worse when tier 2 hits and the playerbase is spread up even more... if at least lifeskills wouldnt be 100% useless...

The way I see it it's possible mail.ru can be the publisher in EU. They could create a global server merging RU and EU. No idea how to deal with the progress russians currently have. But that's how the population can be sustained to keep the game afloat.

So I had the opportunity to try out an alpha of the western version. Its basically more or less what you would expect from an Eastern MMO. If you want to play a game for a good story, forget this, FedEX and Kill 10 monsters is all the quests you will be doing. Like many Eastern MMOs, the combat feels very responsive and is overall exceedingly satisfying, so if you just want to kill stuff and ignore the games content, it does at least offer satisfying gameplay. The cash store is not implemented in what I got to play through, so I cannot comment on that, but I expect its going to be the same as every other eastern mmo in this regard. I am expecting P2W. The game does look like it will be very grindy as well, but that doesn't surprise me either given its origins.

Were all the classes included from the current asian version?

So the asian version then is much further ahead then? Are they gonna catch up real quick until the late 2021 release or are they going to be rolling out the new classes/updates slowly?

I'm not certain.

A Beautifully Desolate Campaign
The dumb part about the Win10 requirement, is that it solely exists for one reason - to regionlock the game. You can run the game just fine on Win7 or 8 with the korean or russian version, but because the western release requires you to be from certain countries, it uses the Win10 geolocation tracking to verify that you are in fact playing from one of the permitted countries. If not for that, you could run the game on older windows OS or older Win10 versions. It's fucking retarded, seeing how the game is on steam and could just use their non-OS restricted geotracking instead.

Good. Hopefully they'll launch with all the classes because of this. Seems like they were taking the Black Desert route which sucked for anyone that wanted those classes.

I actually got the Lost Ark beta working on win7. I assume the fix will still work at launch. Also assume it will work on win8, too.

Grab these reg entries from https://files.catbox.moe/nisudf.reg

It's someone else's solution but I think it just forces stuff to use a protocol you do have. It's easy enough to go through and delete them again after if it causes trouble but I've just left them and everythings been fine. (window+r, regedit)

I had heard of the game aaaaages ago and the combat looked pretty sweet but I could never be fucked setting up a VPN and language mods to play on Ru or something with shit ping. So, I bought a founder pack to get in on the BETA but most that time was spent trying to work out how to get it to run. I knew it should run because its directx 9. Fucking Amazon.

I kinda liked it. I only played 5 hours but it does have pretty unique feeling combat. It's not like playing D3 or POE or something. It's got a bit of a brawler feel to it, like Streets of Rage or something with the juggling aspects.

Pretty hyped for the release. Yeah, it might get old after 6 months but they all do. I'll probably burn out within two months like I always do with WoW.

Also, the NA/EU launch will not have all classes OR all content. It will start off with 15 classes and "T1" endgame that goes up to 600? gearscore. The KR version has T3 endgame which goes up to 1615 gearscore.

Off the top of my head, the classes will be.... Gunlancer, Paladin, Berzerker... Sorcererss, Bard.... Artillarist, Deadeye, Gunslinger, Sharpshooter.... Scrapper, Soulfist, Wardancer, Striker... Blade and Demonic, whatever they were called. They've changed the names for NA.

And since I'm here and have been reading up a bit on various forums, I'll do a mini-FAQ

Is it pay2win?
You can buy crystals to swap for gems to sell for gold then spend gold on the auction house to buy upgrade mats to speed up your progress. But the raids get very hard, bosses will have like 30 attacks. You won't win with swiping alone.

Founder packs worth it?
Yeah, if you add up the price of the skins and stuff you get a lot of useless junk for what you spend. Totally don't need them though because you get a pet and mount for free by level 12.

What class should I play?
Paladin and Bard are support, Gunlancer is tank. The get into groups the easiest. All the DPS are good so pick whatever.

When is launch?
Rumors say Jan 20 but this is unconfirmed.

My friend plays this, he said:

- leveling is cancer
- dungeons are some of the best ever
- pvp is incredible, like a mix of Guild Wars 1, Dota and Guilty Gear

Levelling is a chore if you try to %100 every map, not really long if you focus on main quest.
Gameplay and "hit feedack" is top notch so game don't really bore fast actually. While levelling game always opens up with new stuff to hold your interest.
Also lots of waifus to choose from, if that's your thing.
