Hey-hey-hey, wtf, are the pledges going down or something? Last time I checked, the game had around ~$37.4k, but now it's ~$37.3k.

:rpgcodex:
I do hope I'm just imagining things.

I'm gonna do a gameplay video of the latest tech demo version too, I'll do that tomorrow.

I can chapter the video, but I'm too tired. It took a long time to edit on this shitty free software I used, lots of crashes :(

My first time doing a webcam recording, so apologies in advance for the graphical glitches and sometimes slightly off-sync audio and very basic editing.

Bookmarked the videos, will watch later. Why are there so many PoE videos on your channel?
Your number of posts means you visit 'Dex rarely and must have missed the time when PoE was in beta.

I usually visit the Codex during work hours, but I admit that I didn't checked the PoE beta thread. I don't like posting on forums. That being said I like reading other people's opinion about games.

I started checking the Codex because there are very good RPG reviews and interviews. I also use it to find new RPGs which usually you can't on other sites. Right now, it's the best RPG site you can find.

Anyways you missed Sensuki being by far the most active and dedicated PoE beta tester and then after release him being so angry at Obsidian and how PoE turned out he quit gaming for months.

Thank you for the information, I didn't knew that.

I will check his channel and maybe watch some of the PoE videos for a good critique of the game's mechanics. I have PoE installed and I've waited for the expansions to be released before I played it. Right now I have only 1.5h played, but it didn't clicked with me. At the end of last year I almost finished BG 1 and I got somewhat burned on the BG like fantasy games.

Why's that? hahah

That's the first time I've shown my face on camera by the way, but I have posted plenty of photos in the Codex Member thread.

Seeing those clothes laying everywhere, it looks like you have chosen a more realistic approach for keeping a nerd image than Matt Barton:P

I don't have anywhere to hang a lot of my stuff. I need to get one of those racks from Ikea or something, but there isn't one in my city, so at the moment I do just drape things off my chest of drawers sometimes

Wanted to get the vids up asap so no time for pretense!

I wonder who the Silent Bob is on the Codex, complementing Sensuki's Jay. Great cosplay, man!

That's an informative interview, well done. :salute:
Going more into details and the context, it helps to showcase unique parts of Copper Dreams. But I think, it also helps when an interviewer is more knowledgeable around the stuff relating to the subject. It's more common as a retrospective, but perhaps not so much before the game is shipped, moreover during Kickstarter (from obvious reasons). Sensuki, would you consider to do one more Q&A session with Hannah and Joe during development, say in a half year, or so? I understand it's also time consuming, so I'm not pushing anything.

From the first part:
What exactly is problematic with using "turn-based combat with [simultaneous] time-based resolution"?

I mean, some of us would just need to become more familiar with the system, eg. some more examples and videos with explanations as the game is shaping, and then playing it ourselves. But in the end, when people will get used to it, the description you choose will become a synonymous to understanding of the system. (Well, I guess as long as you don't call it something completely off, like "cooldown buttons with pause"). But I'm unfamiliar how PR works.
