There's two types of people on the Codex:

Those who like to bitch about the decline, and would rather have nothing if it's not perfect.

Those who like to bitch about the decline, but would prefer something that is sort of good to nothing.

There is also the third type.

Those who don't like bad games.

Those people are cool, but you liked Shadowrun, so you're not among them.

Shadowrun scores only 5 Arcanias out of 10 on the shovelware scale. MMX scores at least 8.

I have no complaints re: Blackguards, but comparing MMXL to Shadowrun Returns is some serious Grimdank-level of bullshit.

Yeah, Shadowrun is somewhat underwhelming but at least it didn't stutter like crazy, didn't have 1 minutes loading screens that pause when game loses focus and most importantly didn't fry anyone's hardware

Then again, at least saving your damn game wasn't considered a post-launch feature in MMX, it has properly implemented basic systems like inventory, looting, etc and doesn't have a GUI made for tablets...

This is tough

It's easy: you can come up with a clever disparaging name for Shittyrun Retards. Not so much for MMX.

In other news Fallout 2, Arcanum, ToEE, Bloodlines, MM3, MM6, Ultima Underworld, Arx Fatalis, Dark Sun are all shitty games due to technical problems.

Oh, don't worry, it's not the technical problems that make MMX shit. just that in comparison SRR was a far more polished product.

To continue your analogy, would that make SRR the proverbial polished turd?
