Professional player shows their curated speed run.

Not that I think the game is hard, but bringing up people who play this game professionally is silly.

After the first few missions and unlocking every region you can go on an expedition at any time
Did you actually try? Quite a number of times you are prevented from doing anything but following the story. You can start optional quests, but you can't leave and go free-roaming. I know, I tried. If you try to leave the area you're in your character will hit an invisible wall and say "I need to talk to [NPC]" etc.

I don't know when all regions are unlocked but I am in chapter 2 and only just reached the cold area, and I'm still on the railroad, after 12ish hours of play. That's not "the first few missions" that's a huge chunk of the game.
Yea, you got a quite a few bit more to go, until you get to the endgame credits where it unlocks high rank hunts, but even then you are not completely out of the clear. Since the story continues and it will lock you out of previous sectors and ensure that you cannot change weather in the post game content during certain missions/chapters, it is a real pain of a story to slough through not helped by the performance problems.

I don't know if I can't take this... So much cringe... Making me set the controller down and watch while my character autopilots and chats with the chief dyke and her multicultural harem is worse than anything any dictator in history has ever done to anyone.

The game seems to be harder than MH:World or maybe I'm already senile ...

It is harder.

I watched every cutscene etc. just skip it. There is nothing there but constant cringe.
I am doing second char now and if you skip them it is fairly smooth.

I am bro, but you can't skip the autopilot sections. What is even the point of those? The game is playing itself. Ridiculous. It's also kinda jarring when you're walking through the woods and then you skip a cutscene and you pop back into reality trapped in a cave with a giant spider running at you. I wish you could feed all these people to the spider.

The joining an SOS mission appears to be making the game crash. Some people are claiming its tied to frame-gen. Anyone else having the same issues?
