The most deranged hatedom is likely the one that Infinitron has to endure. The people who slander him as a Jew need to chill. He's a good gentile that always strives to post unbiased news.

I think there's a lot of generalized hatred of the woke in games, and I share it, but what are you gonna do? There isn't a company that can escape it, even if they wanted to, and they seem to be staffed nowadays by people who are determined to stuff it into their games.
It's slim pickings out there though, I'm afraid. The best you can hope for is another dollop of woke but with some semi-decent mechanics and storytelling attached.
And actually, the more sensitized you are to modern woke, the more you notice it in older games too, so older games aren't as much of an escape from it as one might think - even though in those days it was more toned down and the game quality still had to take precedence. One realizes that the ground was prepared decades ago. (I noticed this in my recent binge of "middle period" BioWare - that shit was in these games from day 1, just very muted compared to now.)
Eh, it's all shit, and all we end up doing is finely grading levels of shittiness. Which I suppose is the general conclusion of the Codex
That said, I think the most deranged hatedom is the anti-Larian hatedom, and the most unjustified is the Owlcat hatedom (I think the Owlcat games are tremendous achievements in a purely "making games is difficult yo" sense).

Simply not true. There are dozens of non woke Devs who make based games who are financially successful. Does Steam beat them up if main character isn't transdimensional tranny? No. Does Steam shadow ban them, or not promote them or players refuse to buy their games? No. No. And No! You are like my mother, she go vaxed, thou she was against it. Why? Because "soon goverment will mandate it for all shop owners, son". I told her to hold the line, she failed. Did government mandate it for shop owners in the end? NO. Did she get vaxed out of fear?
