Lair of the Shadow Broker was so fucking terrible (considering who that person is, and the power they wield). I think it was at that point I just said fuck you Bioware and have not played any of their games since.

I played it yesterday and yeah, it's goddamn awful. It doesn't make sense storywise (socially awkward Liara suddenly working as an information broker, but she does not know that her own assistant is a spy, yet somehowe she menages to be a Shadow Broker, yeah, right) and its gameplay is annoying (that part od the outside of the Shadow Broker's ship). Funny parts (like Legion's dossier or some vids) are ok, but when you play it again they're not that great.

All ME2 DLCs* are mid to shit tier, I don't understand the praise they got.

*) not counting NPC DLCs - Zaeed's was cool and Kasumi's was ok.

ME2 has a really strong roster. I might replace Jacob with Zaeed though, one Cerberus glowie would have been enough. Kasumi I found plain boring, I'd remove her altogether. Remember when RPGs had such strong casts it was difficult to choose who you were going to take with you? Now you're lucky to find one or two that you like

The Shadow Broker was much more interesting as a background mystery. I hate DLCs where a big mystery is solved in 10 minutes.

So much this. That whole DLC seemed to be designed by a team that took the fucking terrible: Wouldn't be cool if... school of design. They should have done a DLC that even further deepened the mystery of the extent and power of the Shadow Broker. But that would require actual talent, creativity and thought. But here we are....

Leviathan in 3 was even worse. Banalized the Reapers even more and it's not like the Leviathans were fleshed out to be interesting in themselves.

Why would you make a game, release it and then waste money on a giant patch that changes everyone to become annoying, gay and ugly? Makes no sense, these games nowadays are gay from the ground up, they'd have to patch in 99% of the content and the release version would be nothing but a title screen without any working buttons.

Yea, no sarcasm, I could legit maintain the suspension of disbelief about everything else in the entire game it was mostly low sci-fi that you probably wouldn't get thrown out of a University for pushing. It all went out the window when an INTERSYSTEM CRIME LORD who built their empire on setting up and utilizing THE BEST intelligence network known to Milky Way gets killed by his latest pet and even then it's never told by this VAST intelligence network that "Hey your assassin failed and they probably know where you are, so you should maybe pack up and relocate or something, k?"

theres no fucking way this would work I mean assuming whoever the bad guy is will probably be "right wing" how do you de wokify your game and then rewokify it save surface cosmetics
besides the average consoomer of this slock will want to bang either an asari quarian or turian (freaks) making the humans butt ugly brownoids isnt as much of a concern as making what ever alien pussy people decide to tap likeable
who wants to place bets that this game flopping finally kills bioware

You know, the smart thing to do with a new Mass Effect game would be to bring back combat in big open areas, try and do something along the lines of Helldivers 2 and Space Marine 2 when it comes to the combat side of things... so I’m not sure they do that, even though development is starting long after either of those game came out.

Man, considering what they managed to do with DA, which started as a "traditional" fantasy, I'm actually kinda curious how far modern Bioware could push the woke agenda in a scifi setting, which is much more suited to all kinds of degeneracy.

Congratulations, now the Asari are men.
The Asari are now the Assari.
