Wasn't it taken on Saturday? The day that not many people work at.

Or perhaps they moved to their new up-scale development studio in Copenhagen. Because that's how much money the can blow now.

Hello Games | September 2, 2016

Hello,
Over the last few weeks since No Man’s Sky released we’ve been inundated with feedback and discussion about No Man’s Sky.

No matter what feedback you gave us, you have been heard and we are listening carefully. Thank you.

Here’s what we’ve been busy with in the weeks since release:
• A community/support management team has been brought on board.
• Support issues raised are been categorised by that team, and we are fixing them in order of priority.
• We’ve released a bunch of patches for PC and PS4.
• We’ve written up patch notes for all those patches. You can find them here.

What matters now, as always, is what we do rather than what we say. We’re developers, and our focus is first on resolving any issues people have with the game as it is, then on future free updates which will improve, expand and build on the No Man’s Sky universe.

This is a labour of love for us, and it’s just the beginning.

If you have suggestions please mail feedback@hellogames.co.uk

Thank you,
Hello Games

Afaik this was the last that was heard from Hello Games. From then, silence.

Got to give some respect to Sean Murray. Following this trainwreck has been one of my favorite gaming experiences this year :salute:

Mob justice.
Moronic faggots who projected their autistic fantasies onto a techdemo suddenly turn around and shit all over it.
I wish Sean all the best, I hope he shoveled as much money from the idiots as possible.

Yea, the hype and resulting backlash was definitely disproportional. But if it would lead to re-evaluation of advertising standards in video gaming... that would be good.

We can't have nice things, it is the destiny of man, to feel eternal torment

You can always redeem us by dying for our sins. Become crucified by the social media mob, descend into Twitter absence. On the third day, ascend to the Bahamas where you can sit on the right side of Sean Murray and judge all the 15 quintillion planets.

All you need to know about Wikipedia, right here.

I particularly enjoyed the decision on the talk page NOT to list Sony as the publisher, because Sony said they didn't publish No Man's Sky on the Sony webpage for No Man's Sky on the Sony website where games published by Sony are listed.

Sean is fine and we're all busy on the next patch. — Paul Weir

Sean is coding from fortified bunker in the middle of Sony HQ and not the studio itself

Soon, you will see Sean or at least someone from HG, come out and make an official announcement on the future of the game. Watch the hype machine go into overdrive again. Sales will probably even skyrocket again. Sean Murray and HG hold all the aces with this game.

Sean has not just screwed up the game, he screwed up people in the studio. No matter how many shekels they got, an ordinary programmer / designer won't benefit from it, but instead, they will probably have to lay off the people, as not many will be willing to work with the studio from now on.

If that's not enough, they got death threats just for delaying the game, imagine what kind of shit they had to deal with after the release. It's not surprising that the office is closed.

That's what I don't understand tbh, all he has to do now was call the SJW card and tell how he got death threats and therefore could no longer work on the game.
He would probably get away with it, at least look less like an asshole than he does now. Of course he will also never get another job in the industry but that is already decided.

This is so funny. So Sony now "never published" the game
The worldwide live presentations were all organized by Hello games from their garage studio.

It's true, Sean being on Colbert, showcasing their "game" with that one fat chink sony big shot- that's how all indie games get treated.

I actually liked No Man's Sky for it's gameplay mechanics richness and the endless possibilities.
J/k, it's garbage, but garbage I honestly admire. Gullible children aside, I was amazed how many adult cucks on the Internet were actually hyped for this game and didn't realise it was a scam from the very first announcement. How stupid you had to be to take a single word from the dev seriously?

At first I wasn't even following the game when it came out, but after I heard that everything about it was a lie (everything, the engine included), and seeing some cucks at my work that were almost crying on how they were tricked into buying it, I decided to download the gog version for free to see how bad it actually can be. Turned it off and deleted immediately after seeing how flying model is so shit and designed for shit for brains, that it does not even allow you to crash into the surface. Looks like this dump is huge, and I envy the guy who hyped this crap up and made a shitzillion of money from gullible fuckwits.
It somehow calming to know that the same kind of target audience will go apeshit hyped for the next scam that inevitabely will come. Probably from the same guy.

It's really like a comedy picture came to life - did this guy and his company disappear? I've just checked the dev studio's twitter and it's been dead for almost a month, so something must be up.
