Unarmored is under Acrobatics.
And Mages have the Shield spell.

But of course, you'll get best wares by creepting to the vendor from behind and shouting into his ear:
"How much is the fish!!?" :D

This is something that should be moved to the players skill

Well you did say keep it to links...

So having actually working physics and magic based traps that you can trigger using real-workd physics, etc. instead of self-advertising "reomove by skillroll" lock-traps is "removing traps"? That's a pretty breathtaking leap of faith even for a stat-loving codexer. I have never seen a stat based trap detection and disarming system really work in a RPG, as I have stated above- "work" as in being fun and interesting. Sure you could "improve" them the codex way, which I assume would involve a skill-roll, to detect the trap, different skillroll to try to disarm it, and a chance to set them off accidentally, right? While that might be better than what MW had, but I prefer the way they did it - actually one of the things I most look forward to in Oblivion.Twinfalls said:GhanBuriGhan said:As to traps- come on, the way it worked in MW was lame.

No. This is not just a 'traps have been moved to player skill'. This is traps being removed. What's there now may be all fun and cool, but why remove small traps on chests, doors, etc, and disarming them as a stealth skill?
And as to the pic: Can I take a 5 iron for a hole in one up yours?Well you did say keep it to links...GhanBuriGhan said:Porn and idiotism, the Codex is at it again. I am reading this at work, it would be nice if you could keep the pictures out. Keep it to links, if you HAVE to be infantile.

As for the golf picture, Twinfalls: snigger, snigger, snort, snort. Hey, Twinfalls! Can we look at the Playboy mags that your dad has under his bed?
