Wasn't Stormlands going to be a sci-fi RPG?
You're probably thinking of BackSpace.
Wasn't Stormlands going to be a sci-fi RPG?
What other game could it be? Occam's Razor dictates we assume any unannounced project being discussed is the one we know already exists.
BTW, Feargus says in the video that Obsidian currently has 4 projects.
There was something sci-fiy about the project as well, IIRC.You're probably thinking of BackSpace.
Either I'm getting used to it or he's getting better, but he feels less annoying now.So, from the standpoint of , like, you know, kind of, it doesn't surprise me that Feargus can't secure deals with big publishers if his presentations look like that.
Pretty much. I don't remember seeing someone say "like" so many times per minute. So, from the standpoint of , like, you know, kind of, it doesn't surprise me that Feargus can't secure deals with big publishers if his presentations look like that.
As long as they can create scripted and systemic reactivity to your actions, they don't care.
What is it exactly that you're objecting to here?
I have nothing against Sawyer on PoE, but there if Obsidian follows this path, I'm not interested.
I'll stick to RPGs if they still intend to make ones.
Makes you wonder if Chris did any actual work last 5 years.
I tried another solution. You should ask him about the reborn project from 2014, not the original Stormlands.
To be fair I think he was working on the Aliens RPG at the time.
Pillars of Eternity's area sizes and input systems don't translate well to non-PC formats, but I think a turn-based game could be very cool.
