Ah yes reminiscing about a long forgotten past which you'll never be able to emulate ever again. I amost feel bad for him.

Avellone gets thanked at the end along with the other founders, so there's that. Certainly the least interesting video.

There are fentanyl addicts out there who look more dignified than this. At this point, I hope PoE3 never gets made.

Heh, this is Sawyer right? What happened to him? Did he merge with his dad or something?
Sawyer used to look like a normal dude, even a chad by video game developer standards.

He seemed to age about 10 years from making Deadfire, but his testosterone levels also dropped through the floor at some point in the 2010s. Now he looks like a Portlandia sketch.

Wouldn't be the first person for whom age really crept up on them in their 50s but really 90% of it is just that bad mustache.

That was my first idea for a response "Did time or something creep up on him and hit him with mid age?"
Honestly man, loose the 'stache'. This 'reimagining of yourself' doesn't work". Right now he even has a little bit of 70s porn star vibe.

Sawyer yearns of a time where he could've been a teacher in some fancy and refined Swiss town, teaching linguistics, living life at its fullest and being simply content. But he chose endless shitliberism and paypigging for sex workers. Sad.

Do we know what Sawyer will work on next? Apparently, Microsoft was looking into making New Vegas 2 a thing.
In other circumstances I would say "Yesss!", but I feel I am going to regret it in this case.
I would love nothing more than a sequel to New Vegas, not necessarily set in New Vegas, more a spiritual sequel. The thing is however, the people needed are not there any more. They left Obsidian (apparently one died), and what has replaced them... that they are not up to the task would be an understatement.
And then there is Bethesda's crappy additions to the lore.

I really think we should let this one go.
