I'm sure there's people here that spent more money on it than me.

I *think* Duraframe300 is a Gold Backer.

Somewhat contrary to what they said pre-release, D:OS doesn't actually "cap" your level but there's no content that goes beyond 20.
There is, in the sense that crafted weapons go beyong lvl20, spells and skills do too, and that some enemies are higher levels too.

"Yeah, it is. Hey, guyz, we'll update you every 2 weeks except when we don't... because of 'lame excuse'."

Obsidian has given us 82 updates over a period of nearly two years. Wasteland 2, which has been out longer, has given us a much more sporadic 52. Most Kickstarter game projects haven't given us the amount of info that Obsidian has. With the beta less than one month away, updates that aren't important really aren't even necessary at this point. I mean what more do you want to know that won't be revealed in August?

you're right. it's ineptitude.
This is needlessly edgy. The cumulative hours spent on making updates now would be better spent working on the damn thing itself.

It's not edgy. You want to know what it is? It's me discovering how to troll someone who I once thought was untrollable.

I love you buddy. :D

The fact that obsidian has done more updates than the Wasteland Shitters does not impressive. 'Comulative hours'. HAHAHAHA!

I'm pretty sure we've had this conversation before where I say I take everything at face value unless given a reason to believe otherwise.

Josh is currently playing Child of Light on PC and really likes it. tabletops and currently running 2 campaigns of Ars Magica and a Pathfinder campaign and really looking forward to 5th edition of D&D. He likes the look of the Witcher 3 and really enjoyed checking out Plague Inc Evolved at E3 I think. oh and he likes Shooters.

Recommends a http://roll20.net/.

They will let backers play a demo of the same build that will be available at Gamescom after its over or something.

Also Brandon bought a Vita about a month ago and he is only been playing PS1 games, been playing Symphony of the Night in particular also some Disgaea from PS2. Doesn't like JRPG, likes Strategy and Tactics games. Both him and Josh huge fan of Final Fantasy Tactics and the Front Mission series.

They talk about some other stuff that I can't remember. good podcast.

From Something Awful

- They're showing off the character creation process to the press now
- The campaign almanac's written from the perspective of an in-game cult
- The Gamescom demo's gonna be the same as the beta build

Also I'm probably going to do a Let's Play of the beta. I've got my recording software set up and I'm doing some tests with transcoding the raw footage so I can upload it straight away without editing. So far the quality/file size is pretty good.

I'm not 100% sure if I'm going to do my very first raw playthrough, but I might.

Can anyone make out what Josh says at 32:17 he says like "The Handa Cult" or "Dehanda Cult" or something like that. Apparently there's some secret society in the world. Probably like the Freemasons or some shit, but probably more animancy related.

It also sounds like the option to purchase backer beta access is being taken down before the beta.
