Question:
What would your dream development project be? As in, if you weren't constrained by budget, time or technology, what would be the thing you'd produce?
Sawyer:
Personally, there are two settings/ideas I'd like to explore. One is a setting called Antebellum that is an alternate Earth stuck in the late 19th century at the outbreak of the Civil War after spirit armies swarm over the American South, Ireland, India, and a variety of other places. I'd mostly like to explore the idea of different power groups (e.g. slave owners and slaves) being paralyzed by inaction due to the thread of reactive spirit groups coming to the defense of any party being victimized.
The other game I've wanted to make for a long time is one in which you play a player-defined St. George in the 3rd century Near East who enters a land terrorized by the Dragon. All conversation is abstracted into incomprehensible foreign language and the entire game looks like it is a moving Greek Orthodox icon painted on wood and plaster. As George suffers in the world, the icon fades, cracks, and chips away over time. I'd want it to be more about mood, atmosphere, and subtle body language/character interaction than a scripted narrative and fierce gameplay.

Not to sound like a Biodrone, But are companion romances on the table? If they're well done, they really add a great level of depth and investment into the characters. I'd love to see it done well in PE.
That being said, Please don't pull a Mass Effect 3 on me and give us fantastic dialogue and romance options just to, well, you know.
I play these games mostly to dress up my characters like beautiful princesses. How fabulous dresses, armors and hats will I be able to find and equip?
Tim Cain: I like lots of variety in armor and clothes as well, so I'll ask Rob to make you lots of them! In the meantime, here is some Princess Chocolate to avoid:http://chocolateihaveknown.wordpress.com/2012/10/02/worst-disneyland-chocolate-ever/
Anybody wanna fess up?
Regenerating "health"!
Also healing spell confirmed.
Given that health does not regenerate and is not influenced by healing, you should not say that. After all, Health also gets damaged by fights, not just stamina.Regenerating "health"!

Shit, why couldn't they add the cd to the 250$ pledge
Looks like I have to up my pledge once again.
Stamina and Health
In Project Eternity's combat, players need to be concerned with two elements of a character's vitality: Stamina and Health. The majority of damage a character takes is subtracted from his or her Stamina. Stamina represents how much general abuse a character can take before falling unconscious. Characters lose it quickly and regain it relatively rapidly, even without assistance. Soul-based abilities are able to help replenish or regenerate Stamina and are often used on the battlefield to turn the tide of combat. If a character hits 0 Stamina, he or she is knocked out. Intervention from another character can bring an unconscious character back into a fight.
For players, the Health of their party members is a tether that makes them consider how far they are willing to venture from a safe resting spot. Though Health is typically lost at a lower rate, when the PC or a companion hits 0 Health, he or she is maimed (in standard play) or killed (in Expert mode or as an option in standard play). Magic may help mitigate damage to Health and slow the tide, but once characters have died (in Expert mode), there is no known magic that can bring them back.

Also this. Could some good soul record the whole thing somehow, and then upload? Many brofists will be had.Damn it, I just realized that I can't watch them playing D&D. The different timezones mean that I will be at sleep by then, because i have to go to work tomorrow.

So Darklands system after all, Josh, huh?

Dude. IT IS HEALTH. It is just being labled something else for fluff.
Dude.
IT IS HEALTH. It is just being labled something else for fluff. Consider it like this:
you have TWO health bars one of which regens. There are spells to heal the first (and probably the second although that is not confirmed). If these spells are low level (should be conisdering how they only affect the regen health) they will be spammable. Supposedly if the health can be healed too outside of combat then your healing spell will regen too. I know Sawyer said that there will be no cleric spells but he did not say that there will be no healing spells.
The description clearly smacks of magical means to healing. I wonder if that is a spell.
