Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
Braid was dece. Doesn't hold a candle to Donkey Kong of course.

Donkey Kong was shit. Even worse than Mario.

No it's not.

But why try to explain it myself when this person already did so, and better?

Please, PLEASE, don't reference that decliner retard insomni.ac inside the hallowed forums of The Codex. That guy is, at his heart, an AAA fag and publishers' bitch but doesn't want to admit it. If it weren't for his supposedly high-brow artfaggotry, he'd be right there with a bottle of Mountain Dew and a bag of Doritos blowing publishers with the best of them.

I just watched a bit of their recorded pnp D&D session, and I was really annoyed by how Adam B. seems to be really clueless/non-passionate about both roleplaying and games.

I remember he also did a chat session in which he was asked about the relationship of the name Obsidian to the name Black Isle Studios. He said, "I think it's related, yeah. Feargus is the CEO and he used to work at Black Isle." Something like that. Clueless.

So he mostly seems like a clueless hack. I'm trying to figure out why he's a Project Director for this, because he has about a tenth the passion of a Sawyer or an MCA. He wasn't even paying attention during the pnp session.

Is't project director is just sort of a highest in chain manager?

His role as a Project Director mostly covers the Kickstarter campaign. The creative directors are Josh and Tim. And probably MCA. Adam is a programmer and probably doesn't have a lot of creative (in a non-techy way) input. I wouldn't worry.

Brennecke seems plenty passionate about it. Not everyone's the life of the party though.

Also, how would he even know that? He started as an intern after Obsidian was founded.

Huh? I'm not talking about social skills. Actually, all Adam seems to HAVE are social and programming skills. He's apparently clueless about CRPGs, games, and roleplaying in general.

What do you mean how would he even know that? He WORKS at the company, and anybody who has followed CRPGs at all knows that Sawyer, MCA, Feargus, Darren, and probably others ALL worked at Black Isle.

Reminds me of when Allen (?) the black guy with the fedora said his favourite Obsidian Game was Baldur's Gate 2.

or maybe he thought he was asked about his favorite bioware game? people get confused, especially if alcohol and loud background noises are involved.

What? Where's the connection?

How would that even come up in a normal conversation or work related. *Hey guyz I was always interested in the exact reasons of why you named the company Obsidian*

Because that's such an obvious question to ask or would be of any importance regarding work.

Think about what you write for a second there.

Umm perhaps he would some some research on the company he works for? It's not a very large one, and he now has a lot of face time with the public to garner interest. Why wouldn't he make sure he understands what the origins of the company are? Shit, people like me who mostly don't care about how Obsidian started still know about the origins of Black Isle -> Obsidian by simple virtue of knowing who worked on what game.
