I dont give a shit about the Anniversary ship, its seems to be ... garbage because at best you can have a Lt + Ensign Tactical and Its too Eng Heavy and Command isnt Intel.

I guess this is becoming a tradition, last year I said fuck all to the Dyson Destroyers ... same with this year.

Just ask yourself what Norfleet would do....

It's a shipshaped box containing a universal console, a ship mastery trait and the core of a set that may end up being good. Also you need to build additional pylons and farm more minerals.

Also no dissing my dysonboat mkay? The free sciboat with battlecloak brought me a lot of entertainment during Brobisek's station defense!

I am not got of my way to get it, priorities are getting T4 Dip on my only character without T4 Dip and finish my chains (Ghosts is bust) and continue with my BHE runs until I either get bored or they are nerfed.

Well I kinda like it, it looks awesome and it should be a pretty decent A2B cruiser.

And compared to the 135 ish races I ran for the winter event this is gonna be a breeze to grind.

If only I had been so smart not to put them into the project to clear inventory space, 600 Qmendashuns wasted... Oh well, at least that means doing the mission once gives another alt the dyson boat.

Oh damn, thank you for the reminder! I think I do have qmendations from last year lying around somewhere.

My general malaise about this game around the holidays only served to bite me in my own ass. The one character I was interested in flying the Sarr Theln on also happens to be the one character I didn't bother to unlock the Plesh Brek for, meaning that I'll have to wait until next winter if I want them as hanger pets. I of course didn't notice any of that until a couple of days ago when I logged back in after a 3-week break. I R A DUMB.

I'm gonna have to get both of these for a KDF character and combine these traits with the Qib trait for extreme cannon awesomeness.

Still Eclipse, and my other alts are using Guardian, Mat'ha, that T6 Derpidex lookalike, Sarr Theln, and then the same old ships with T5U.

Well just a note on that, Temporal Destroyer is a Lobi ship as COBRA! Assault is Lock Box and T6, its going to be more expensive ...

Ass Tick has the more tempting trait, IMO. Unless the small boost is something like "+0.1% per stack".

We need a little more infos about that before a final verdict can be spoken. But I expect it to be 1 extra power per stack, so on average you would end up with a 10-20 extra power for maybe 30 seconds. Certainly nice to have, but not gamebreaking considering fleet (sing)cores, batteries and the leech. Moah power has also the nice sideeffect that it may bring another of your powerlevels above 75 for the extra dmg bonus.
But it will end up costing some 300 millions EC, not worth it for me. If I even had that much moneyz to begin with.

OSS makes it irrelevant.

When I switched to the T6 Intrepid I ended up with a curious build, I just OSS2,GW3,SS2 and TS2 ... end result, a bunch of packed enemies that will start shooting at each other before getting hit by a Gravitic torpedo salvo.

As more power is always good, OSS completely makes it trivial and the power of leach is two folded .. its not just the power you gain but also the power you drain.

Only for the limited number of ships that have access to OSS though. For all the rest the non-Intel beamcruisers in the game this will be one hell of a nice buff. Vaarna makes a good point about the leech though. That's a mandatory component of all my KDF builds, so I'll be interested to see how it works alongside this trait.

Why on earth would you not use a T6 ship? You cannot get the trait without the ship so you paying for a trait to use on a ship that costs you at least 3200 zen to make full use.

Not to mention the Astika ... ugh ... argh ... fuck it, Swastika seems to be a pretty solid battlecruiser as far stations, sure it doesnt have OSS but makes it no different that other battlecruisers outside lower turn rate but gets a extra station, its also going to be a +1 meaning you have no reason to use a obsolete T5 over it, even T5FU, hell the only battlecruiser that can compete with it is the Avenger/Mogh as far weapons go.

Some players aren't princes, decided that forking over 30 dorrars at the current state of STO is not earned or simply did not want to give up a normal BOFF ability for it. Maybe they like flying a ship without intelseating? #Derpidex4life



Don't look at me with those pityful eyes, I bought a T6 for all my chars thankyouverymuch.
