No, I don't like listening to your rants. You're generally a nice guy, but you're absolutely infuriating when something turns on the crazy.

Anyway, if we are going to do a sprint for the Defiant maximum pimpage before Season 7 starts, here's the plan:

1) We will need to do 3 projects each day. This means people will have to start using those Fleet Credits of theirs in order to buy white tac-doffs from the Starbase, and we need to chuck in some Dilithium too. It seems Marks fill out within hours of a project opening (hell, like I said I've only managed to put in some 50 Marks in the past week).

I'll put 5 million to the bank for Norfleet if we're doing this.

Ah, there's nothing like doing Infected Space with a bunch of illiterate, utter morons who get EXTREMELY butthurt at being called utter morons to make you miss you fleet BROs. They turn STFuns into STFU's.

What's this doffpocalypse you're mentioning? I just looked through the dev blogs and didn't see anything. What are they planning on changing?

Dang, just when I left for the day. I hate this "work" thing. Popping virtual Borg all night would be so much more interesting.

Season 7 is going to hit in 3-4 weeks, yesterday/today I reached my objective as the Prototype Armor dropped and I got my Mk XII Ground Set, amusing enough I also managed to get the "all optional in Elite" accolade so I only have to get the optional in CGN and then its just the Medal of Honor and the 100 runs ones ... and doing KA once more since I am at 49.

So that "wait 2-3 months to unlock the STF Store" no longer affects me as much.

On the continuation of bad news, to me anyway, the Vesta have a hangar bay so I dont want to even see its stats ... fuck them for turning it into a fucking flight-deck cruiser and fuck then from making THREE fucking carriers in a row.

Now on the subject of Season 7, the Embassy does not seem to take that much and its only 3 Tiers but, then again, it does not seem to offer that much either.

They are going to up the compact prices considerable and make the General Recruitment having 1000 Dilithium cost, racial recruitments too I believe.

To us in Fed it does not affect that much since we can rely on the Fleet Doffs, KDF means if its going slow its going to go even slower ... situation might balance itself when the larger Fleets start to dump Doffs in the market but that may or may not happen, I suspect the reason for those is because ... DOFF packs dont sell and they are trying to shove people into buying then.

I think the easier method would be to just make doff packs better. If you were guaranteed two Purples, they'd probably sell a lot more.

Incidentally, I think people should post in the topic if they're going to start running STFs for several hours, in order for others to know that there's action going on. Especially when PUG Hell is ongoing.

Explain yourself, cur.

Also, the KDF fleet does have the T1 base, so at least random white doffs can be acquired already for FC.

It seems you cannot buy Mk. XII gear from the STF store until you reach Tier 5 in the Omega Reputation, considering the projects completion timers people will only reach that Tier in 2-3 months after they started.

This means if you have a partial set missing a piece you only get access to the Store months later, they also are being very vague on the conversion so lets say you have 3 Prototype Shields and are missing the Deflector, one would assume that would be enough to cover the Deflector but nothing says they will be doing a 1:5 trade, in fact nothing says they would be doing a 1:1 trade either.

(1:5 means 1 proto tech drop for the 5 Elite Omega Marks of whatever they are now calling that, that means trading one tech for one set piece).

This behavior from Cryptic is the one that made me go into STF EXTREME Zerg farming overtime of the dead (to me anyway) since I did not want to be caught in a situation were at my pace it would be 6 months before I would get access to the Mk XII stuff, true that I only did with one character since the rest were barely in STFs before and they can wait but my advice is this, if you stuck with partial sets go for it now, otherwise you have to grind your way to STF Mk. XII store access when season 7 hits.

As for when season 7 hits ... its already on Tribble, Testing Weekend did not happened yet but it might be this one or the next and then it will hit Holodeck in 1-2 weeks later.

A participated in a face-palmingly bad Infected Space PUG just last night!

- Cool, everyone's in cruisers! DPS? Never heard of it.
- Coordination? FUCK THAT.
- Let's destroy the generators one at a time!
- What are all these spheres doing out here?
- Haha that tactical cube is wiping it's ass with our fleet!

Seriously...took more than an hour. Horrible...just horrible.

It could be worst, I was in one were someone pop the generator well too soon and we spend the rest of the time dealing with the nano spheres waves and get this ... when I move to the second spot I see someone got there first, ignored the cube AND popped a generator ... it was unbeatable at the point since someone already bailed and it was pretty clear we had a troll (or a complete idiot) on our team, the only thing I did was to move to the other side of the map and waited because I sure as hell was not going to take the penalty so that troll or idiot could just queue right back and screw with another team.

I had one that was kinda like that one Subject37 but it was also great because the ones that stuck had to deal with severely injured ships, things were so bad the Cube actually regained full health twice because we were all dead, there are days everything goes wrong.

The defending cube, or the tactical cube? If you can't kill the original generator-defender cube, not only is your team sad, YOU are sad: P Those things should be solo-able regardless of what you team does. The tac cube is also kind of a pushover if you have a build for it, since you can generally keep it permanently stunlocked.

Tactical of course, the issue was that we had existing injuries and the Gate helped with making that worst before we taken it down ... then there were the Spheres we had to sheppard away to deal with due to accumulated damage.

Any chance the startbase can get a medic? I always play on elite and have gotten every ground damage accolade.

Not right now, its a T3 or T4 Science and we are nowhere close to that I am afraid.

Also why playing on Elite? sure you get better drops but its vendor trash anyway because you just pass the level they are useful so they are useable for 2-3 days. before you have access to 2 marks above due to raising in level.

Similar to what happened to me yesterday, all cruisers except me and one dumbfuck in a Klingon carrier with some Starcraftian name. Klink immediately makes a bee-line for the first generator, ignoring the cube on top, and quickly destroys it. Cruisers each take on a different sphere with not much success. Then everyone switches to the transformer, completely ignoring the nanite spheres constantly healing it, until I destroyed them.

Cue the same type of thing on the other side. Except they all flew so close to the gate and tac cube that it kept popping them like spacemoles every time.

Finally when the whole ordeal was over, I said: "I would say gg, but it wasn't. You guys just sucked. hard". Picked up my disappointing loot and warped out.

Then one of the tards types an epic, angry rant at me in broken English, and before I could tell him how much his edginess impressed me, he blocked me. Probably reported me to his mommy for hurting his feelings too.

The Starbase has a Sickbay, but it treats only up to Major injuries. T3 would cover Critical ones too. The Sickbay is not in the main deck (where you arrive and where the vendors are), you've got to take an elevator (forgot which of the two it's in).

But yea, there's not much reason to play Elite until the endgame.

Haha, I like you already. I was doing that at first, too. Eventually the difficulty level became both artificially punitive (everything kills in one hit). When it became clear that this was not the SFC-Online experience I had been hoping for, I stopped and just switched to powerlevelling to the end and getting real gear.

You don't actually have to use Elite in the endgame either, since you can just buy top class gear from our Starbase nowadays.

Question about fleet ships.....do all of them available at a particular tier unlock when you reach that level of shipyard, or do you need to unlock each ship individually? I'd like to put in a request for the fleet Nebula if we have to do them individually.

All the available I believe, also you will need Fleet Modules for that one specifically besides Fleet marks.

But we dont have a Tier III shipyard, we have a Tier II so you cannot get it yet.

I know, what is up with that? CHOP CHOP PEOPLE!

You are welcomed to pay for the insane requirements, this might work for Fleets with 20+ members but for a Fleet with barely active 10 members?
Season 7 is more of the same.

Me, Fens, and Drakron are about to run STFs soon.

EDIT: And actually we can do the Tier III Shipyard easily, if we do three projects a day less than two weeks. People just need to nut up and buy the Tac Doffs from the Starbase and put some of their daily Dilithium in.
