Do we already have an ETA for when they will put fun into the game?
Play as the monk, don't try to gain loot or power, don't pursue the fleeting pleasure of fun, instead observe, be mindful of the present moment, then you will attain inner peace.Do we already have an ETA for when they will put fun into the game?
yes but a lot of work needs to be put into itIs the game good?
Probably by making a crafting system that isn't based on using rare orbs to roll RNG slot machine for affixes line by lineyes but a lot of work needs to be put into itIs the game good?
I dunno how GGG is gonna solve the Item Rarity drama
Is the game good?
It is already fun. At least first 3 Acts are super cool. All 6 would be if game became harder after 3 Acts (or of similar hardness) instead of easier. Then endgame is ruined by some builds doing 100x more damage then other builds and many builds doing 50x more damage and lots doing 10x more..Do we already have an ETA for when they will put fun into the game?
It will take 1 year or more, that is for sure. Feels like PoE1 beta again but more unbalanced as they put in endgame without any real testing or balancing and decided to use all the players for that.Is the game good?
If they didn't own the company they'd be fired for pushing elements the players hate and wasting too much time on irrelevant shit (like active block). It looks like it would take 1-2yrs to even be feature complete on this basic version of the game, nevermind balance and improvements.
Apart from graphics and AAA feel of the campaign, bosses are the only good thing it has over poe1 atm.
Currently at cruel act 3. I found 25% movement speed bots at cruel act 2, I saw 20% ones recently. Defenses will be deprecated soon, but man, how much a difference a 10% extra movements speed makes. I won´t replace them just for defenses. As for my Essence Drain attempt, did Trial of Sekhema yesterday to get my 3rd Ascendancy and died again at boss at end of lvl 2 due to being too slow and doing too little damage.
Then I decided to finally try out trade to upgrade my shit and spent 2 hours looking for and messaging people just to buy decent 25% move speed boots and over 700 evasion chest.. this is exactly the reason why I avoid trading with this shitty system... but game balance is so bad atm that after doing campaign and running 40 maps or so I have not seen move speed boots with more than 15% movespeed and usable other stats. I have also not seen a hybrid ES/EV chest with more than 300 evasion.. buying is truly the only option you have. And boots only cost me like 1ex and chest 3ex.. I already hated this shit in PoE1 where unless you are a mastercrafter you always wanted to buy your stuff but at least we had that crafting bench and I could gear up for white and yellow maps and do those and when I would reach red maps I could choose to enter trading or quit playing.
I agree but at this point I am wasting my time on shitty design so that is why I decided to trade. In PoE1 by the time I reach red maps and need to trade to progress I usually just quit. System is not good there either. To craft gear that will let non meta build do red maps without big problems is not a simple task and even harder if you were not selling shit on the way and got currency to exchange for crafting currency you need. It is a bit easier now due to automatic currency exchange but for PoE2 there is nothing to buy. No Harvest, Delve, essences are crap, even greater essences are just glorified regal orbs and others.Currently at cruel act 3. I found 25% movement speed bots at cruel act 2, I saw 20% ones recently. By the way, fuck all people trying to make me buy items in the market. That´s lazy game design. Just make a non random, well designed crafted system.
I don´t like trading, I like to be rewarded with good items killing bosses or be able to craft good ones with what I find in the dungeons. It´s also cumbersome to buy from other players.
GGG is fully owned by Tencent.
If they didn't own the company
They didn't get involved so far (outside of China). PoE2 is completely on the bosses at GGG.GGG is fully owned by Tencent.
I'm going to finish cruel act3 and wait some months until they flesh out (or not) everything.I agree but at this point I am wasting my time on shitty design so that is why I decided to trade. If I was swimming in Exalts and Alchemy like how I got Transmutations and Augumentations I would risk more of them into crafting. I've already used about 10ex during leveling and start of endgame to try to turn some items into a bit better ones, I am not sure I ever got a mod that I was very satisfied with and most of the time it was something really useless with a bad roll. Funniest part was when I was still using Demon Form and trying to keep my max life low but kept getting life rolls on gear I would ex...

For an early access I enjoyed the game quite a bit. Good campaign, I don't want to burn out on endgame when it's not finished.
30 eur well spent and satiated my itch for some ARPG time, still has some annoying things. Hope they improve them and it becomes a great game.
You need to farm 1 or 2 level trials to get a decent Honour resist first (up to 75%). This along with moving speed are most useful bonuses. As for my Essence Drain attempt, did Trial of Sekhema yesterday to get my 3rd Ascendancy and died again at boss at end of lvl 2 due to being too slow and doing too little damage.
There are tens of thousands of results on poe trading site that matches 30%+ Movement Speed bonus and most of them are quite cheap. I bought mine for 1 Exalt in a matter of seconds and it even has 1 resist stat. Then I decided to finally try out trade to upgrade my shit and spent 2 hours looking for and messaging people just to buy decent 25% move speed boots and over 700 evasion chest.. this is exactly the reason why I avoid trading with this shitty system...
I know how shit works. But I am doing it on Xbox that forces you to use same shit UI as PC while PoE1 had its own trading interface and no need to whisper to join anyone in hideout. You just open a trade screen from anywhere, see what currency people are offering for your shit and click accept or reject. You need to farm 1 or 2 level trials to get a decent Honour resist first (up to 75%). Unless your build is busted, most likely you won't be able to get 3rd Ascendancy without decent bonuses. Even my Infernalist comrade had to farm it first.

You just push "Direct Whisper", receive a party, jump to them and exchange: https://www.pathofexile.com/trade2/search/poe2/Standard/vqJMMqXsE
Dodge, block or have high evasion.decided to give monk a spin. Im experienced with ssf 2nd character power boost, but freezing and stunning bosses is new to me.
how do melees handle firing squads?
