at the end of a league event your current inventory will be converted to temporary stash spaces that allow the items stored there to be removed into your standard (non-league) inventory. I have about four or so different temporary stashes from previous events.

speaking of flask strategy my recent selection of the Ranger's Herbalism skill has helped considerably with restoring hybrid mana flasks. I'm thinking of specialising in the other flask skill nodes in conjunction with items that add to increase flask life recovery to increase the amount of health flasks restore over time. It is also a useful combination for increasing the reduced amount from 'instant recovery on low health' flasks. Regrettably my connection has dropped multiple times today so I've decided to not chance playing with my hardcore character, although I just might make another one to test a few spells in the early levels.

Added you Hoaxmetal, if you'd be so kind as to add me to the guild. At the moment I'm fooling around with a Scion spectral throw build. I can't decide which way is the best to start.

DakaSha (or anyone else) If you are in a giving mood then feel free to donate a dolla or two for the guild, need 40 more monies for additional guild stash tab.
Nemesis and Dominion ones will be full soon. If anyone's interested you can do it by clicking M, selecting guild and then "Give points" in top left corner.

Nobody seems to be stealing stuff en masse from the stash so that's nice. Saw Tabula Rasa in it, wonder if that's valuable.

Thanks to raw we have an additional guild stash tab. Currently everyone can put stuff in but only I can remove and distribute, so put uniques or other valuables there. This should work until they add loot logging or other safety measures.

I've just started act 2 as a fire witch. Unfortunately, I don't get why this game get such high praise.

Don't get me wrong, for a free game, the quality is top notch. Combat really is the same league as old school Diablo-likes, and lewts everywhere, and the innovative skill gems, the huge passive skill map, etc etc. But I can't help but feel...tired with the game. It's basically just running around, throw fireballs to kill goatmen/cannibals/zombies/tentacle monsters who have a different name/skin/resistance, pick up loots, sell them, use them, level up, pick up a new passive to increase my spell damage by 8%...

But for me, the game feels too gamey and lacks a realistic feeling. Sure, talking about realsim in a hack & slash fantasy game is very stupid, but there is a difference between learning spells from a spellbook and learning one from inserting a gem in just about any piece of clothing. Also the way the game overflow all kind of trash everywhere, repititve monsters swarming everywhere, mindlessly massacering monkeys and tribals...

I don't know, such gameplay could be very fun when I was younger, the massive skill tree and ridiculously varied skill gem comboes are probably also powergamers' wet dream come true. But for me, playing this makes me feel like a mindless machine...

Just realized i can trade stacks of scraps or stones for two stacks of scrolls of wisdom at vendor. This game just got a lot less grindy now, particularly since you pretty much need to pick up blues and identify them to make fusings.

How can you make fusings using blues? Am I missing something?

And much kudos to the guy who left +1 minion helmet in the stash. My summoner is very happy.

You make alterations out of blues. An inventory full of them nets your 1.5 to 2 alteration orbs. At the vendor, you can buy a jeweler orb for two alterations, and a fusing for four jewelers. I think fusings are one of the most underrated currencies in this game. They rate two or three for one chaos, but they are much more easily farmed than chaos because there is no "chance" involved in obtaining them, you can get them steadily as long as you pick up blues. Also, it seems you need a shit load of them to link 5 or 6 sockets, so they are potentially always in demand, though i suspect a lot of people just prefer to farm blues (myself included). You can tell just how well thought out this game is though since you cannot simply farm a particular boss, since you also need scrolls of wisdom. This means the best way to actually farm blues is not to farm at all, but simply play the game as is. Its a very self sufficient system. Right now i pick up every superior or three colored whites (though after a while i think you can have too many chromatic orbs), as well as white rings and maybe flasks or belts for that extra scrolls of wisdom scraps (not needed, but there's always holes you can fill before returning to town). I make scrolls of wisdom by converting scrolls of town portals (thanks again to the portal gem, which so far as been a god send), as well as stacks of scraps or stones (stones more than scraps since the rate for scraps to scrolls of wisdom is actually 1:1). I then use scrolls of wisdom to identify blues, out of which i end up making fusings. Now, as far as yellow items are concerned, if you sell a full set of them (and by full set i also mean with rings and an amulet), you can get a chaos for it, two if you don't identify them. This is a bit tricky because the drop rate of yellow rings and amulets is very low, and at high level yellow items may be worth selling individually. I heard of people buying 100$ worth of stash tabs just to farm chaos this way (using the chrome app). Personally, i think this is probably more trouble than its worth, but at least you can make a few extras chaos with the shit yellow items you get as you level up.

I sometimes forget you can simply buy orbs from a vendor +M

I don't really pick up blues, only those with tricolor sockets and superior above 13% quality. The all rare recipe becomes much more powerful once you get those items from lvl 60 areas right?

Right now im trying to save up all the mats I can find because once I enter Act 3 Cruel it's gonna be crafting time. Since I refuse to trade with others and rely on my own drops (and some lucky things from the guild stash) it's been pretty hard for my glass cannon duelist to proceed past Act 1 Merciless. Ended up with a summoner scion. Her starting area is incredible, much faster and easier leveling than the Witch. And her VO about various things in the game is just fantastic. Shame she is a greenpeace loving communist.

I always pick up blue belts. Sometimes you get a simple belt that gives like +80 health

You were unprepared and you died, whoop-de-doo. There are leagues just meant for that you know, learning the game/encounters, if you don't want to read spoilers :P

I'd personally hang on to alterations if I were you, Lyric Suite. They are in high demand for rolling maps, pots and other things like off-color sockets on 5-6l items. You can trade dozen stacks of them for way more fusings that you will ever get out of a vendor. The same is true for most currency items.

You also only get chaos for yellow sets of items of item lvl 60 and higher. Hardly a "leveling trash"

Also, has Hoaxmetal blocked access to raw's stash tab? I reorganized items so that gems are in it, but can't seem to be able to pick them up.

Yes, the idea was to have secure storage for uniques, six links or w/e so they don't get nabbed without a record. Will unlock it for nemesis for now since there are no uniques there.
