Haven't played that much yet, but everything so far is rich and smells quality everywhere. Can't believe I'm saying this. Having in mind that I dislike PoE and other generic RPG crap

I am disappointed with the bow mastery weapon. You get it near the end, it is a +5 comp longbow with mirror ability which is another arrow that does 1d4+ some shit bonus damage that is usually turned to nothing because of DR.
Then 1h later you enter Nyrissa domain and find a shopkeeper Fey there that sells you a +5 Holy Comp Longbow LOL.

Also Paladin enchant weapon cannot enchant the weapon beyond the total +5 bonus, you can only add stuff like flaming, holy and such to it. But they let you for example use Magic Vestment to enchant armors beyond +5 to armor...

Worse, there is a finite number of "Stuff" you can add. Try stacking Flaming, Shock, Frost, etc to your weapon and it will start pushing off things like Bane, Holy, or whatever damage enhancements were originally on the weapon.

The Magic Vestment thing is probably a bug. Or a misunderstanding of the rules. You can even buff characters with armor bracers with Vestment, to have 8+5 AC +whatever dodge bonus robes can give you (+5 for lawful good monks, so overall 4 more then full plate - with no Dex/Wis/Cha/Int limits).

Normally that is how it should work, weapon should not go beyond total +10 bonus. But I think Magus ignores this with his weapon enchant and so does Magic Vestment which should also not allow armor or shield to go beyond +5 total bonus.

The fight at the barbarian camp in chapter 3 has to be one of the most retarded encounters I've ever seen in my experience of playing RPGs, in a fucked up but also hilarious way. You just get plopped in the middle of a 30-man ambush, not to mention that some of those cunts have an ability drain aura, WTF!

Fuck that shit, reload, buff up to the teeth, summon everything possible, bottleneck them on the bridge then spam the ever-living fuck out of fireballs, dragon breaths and Jubilost OP bombs. Serves them right, the cunts. This is on 'Somewhat tougher enemies' + 'Strengthened' enemy difficulty settings.

Now to fix all of that ability drain damage.. :negative::negative::negative:

It is Chapter 4 and I did it in my first try with little buffs. Sisters have a gaze attack that drains abilities. But I had 2 characters that can tank and one that can tank if really needed. Rest was solved by AoE. Aoe Fire protections + liberal use of empowered fireballs and flamestrikes solves most problems.

Trolls are Chapter 2, Bloom Chapter 3, Varnhold is Chapter 4. I am talking about the game, don't care how the adventure path does it.

As far as I know Troll Trouble + Season of Bloom are part of Chapter 2, Chapter 3 is Varnhold, Chapter 4 is Armag, Chapter 5 is Pitax and so on.

Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
how do the "chapters" activate anyway? is it by time? i am sometimes impressed by how they handle it, at the same time, the trigger can take a tad too long especially the varnhold one.

what i love, is during the "free" time you sometimes get events that foreshadow what's to come. events that automatically get resolved by advisors, then some quests appear like the one in silverstep, cyclops tombs started to appear etc.

at the same time, it can take too long because 2 months before varnhold chapter began i pretty much have explored all available areas and acquired all the territory available for me in that point. for 2-3 hours of play i am pretty much just skipping time, then build stuff when i have enough BP and stuff.

The game has fixed timeline, so most of the main and secondary quests, even companion quests, always activate on the same day (like day 100 or day 300) counting from the day you get barony. Only exception is the chapter that starts right after Varnhold because plot. So stalling with chapter completion never gives you extra time for kingdom management.
But you do actually "lose" some events if you deal with the plot too fast. For example, if you clean main dungeon in Troll Troubles in the week or two, then you'll never see bunch of things that happen only on day 30 after chapter started.
I was very surprised, when around 60-100 days in Bloom chapter I've got a letter from the trader in Silverlake village about Ivar. Never seen it before since I usually do this location before trolls.

if you are skipping time for bp, just sell some items and buy the bp

If you are not using extra time to level up advisors you are doing it wrong.

I am using the time to level up advisor and the ranks too.
Unless you maxed out all advisors/ranks then there is no extra time between chapters. Kingdom is just as part of the gameplay as is the questing.
well yeah. I get it, because that is all you can do without wasting time.
