Guys does anyone know when that DLC with the Tiefling race is coming out?

Also: in terms of the +5 Dodge Monk Robes that are equippable by Good characters, is there more than one of those available or is it a unique item?
I think I've found only one robe set each (evil, good, neutral) tailored specifically for monks. It's yet another point on the long, long "wtf itemization" list.

On the topic of Valerie, after keeping as a tower shield fighter throughout the game, I have to admit: don't bother. Just pretend Nyrissa banged her while at Oleg's and turn her into a feyspeaker druid. With how high their base ac gets, you can easily buff an animal companion to take over tanking, while Valerie acts as the barkskin dispenser. Also, sirocco.

One set for LG, one set for LN, one set for LE monks. All with different but good stats. :balance:
I was wondering how this game didn't suffer the fate of Siege of Dragonspear but now I see it will. Goblins are slowly coming out from their dens.

It was in here. 75% of posters focused on few SJW stuff (and on that shitty writer girl that was fired soon after and her Minsc shit removed) , while 25% focused on nice AI and well designed encounters.

P:KM has more SJW stuff than SoD did, even with being a much bigger game. At least in SoD you didn't have a gay or bi romance with anyone, that alone beats any SJW content in SoD that got goblins over here so riled up.
The worst thing about SoD was the rewriting of the original companions, and the acknowledgment that they were revising the characters. Jaheira's SoD writer straight-up said "Yeah I don't really like her because she's bossy so I just made her Generic Stronk Wymyn instead." And of course the whole Minsc thing.
P:KM may have more SJW stuff but it also has much better writing overall.

Which is, of course, fucking retarded because all the famous faces in 3023-3030 was in on the action of the Kurita-Davion-Capellan mash-up happening, including every single big merc unit.*

Maybe they will bend time as they did with the new 'mechs, and have Vlad Ward show up in the IS 25 years before he is supposed to. Just for a cameo, you know.

Or maybe the cameo will be a distant relative, a la Anna-Maria Centrella, the long lost Spanish sister of the Irish-Scottish Centrellas. I can see it now. Natalia Kerensky, twin sister of the great Natasha Kerensky, who was cast out of the Dragoons because she is a gay tranny ("muh oppreshun!!!!") and is bumming around the Periphery selling her ass to the lowest bidder.

EDIT: * Which was why they became famous in the first place. The original books in the 3025 era that introduced everyone, from Katrina Steiner to Jaime Wolf to Jason Youngblood to Morgan Kell to Hanse Davion, were about that massive conflict, which ultimately led to the 4th Succession War.

That sucks but I know nothing about that IP other than the new game being notoriously terrible. At least HBS made a couple good games before becoming :decline: which is more than you can say about Beamdog.

All they need to do regarding itemization is giving us a kingdom project to attract new merchants with higher level wares. Bam.
Doesn't fix the itemization in the world itself but at least you aren't stuck with +2 weapons when everybody else already has +4 vorpal dildos.

It is not a retcon. The key part of "retroactive continuity" is the second word. Continuity.

What HBS is doing is wholesale rewriting everything, plain making shit up and ignoring everything that has gone before. They could have called the game Gundam and it wouldn't have made a flaming difference.

As for the cuckdog and HBS comparison, just because HBS has made games in the past does not make their massive transgression any less massive. On a transgression vs transgression basis, HBS is way ahead by a mile and the next one is popcorn material.

Quests

  • The "Turn the barony into an independent country" objective of the quest "How to Build a Kingdom" could get stuck even after the player fulfilled necessary conditions. Resolution: fixed.

  • The "How to Build a Kingdom" quest got stuck on the "Reach rank 8 of any kingdom's stats" objective even when the rank of kingdom stat was already 8 or higher. Resolution: fixed.

  • Added information on where to find Jenna during the "Lost Child" quest to the Journal (she is waiting for the player at the Capital Tavern, as she always was).
Areas

  • The peasant rebellion at the Capital Square conflicted with the romance event at the Tavern. Resolution: fixed.

  • Nok-Nok could get stuck in the "Goblin Clearing" area. Resolution: fixed.

  • For Tristian and Jaethal, incorrect dialogue could be displayed after the "Test of Loyalty" event. Resolution: fixed.

  • From now on, companions involved in a romantic relationship with the player will gain twice as many affection points for dialogue interactions during the Twice-Born Warlord and the War of the River Kings chapters. This will give the players another chance to properly develop their romances before the game's finale.
Kingdom

  • The number of new projects shown in the kingdom UI could be incorrect. Resolution: fixed.

  • The event about Jubilost's article could trigger even after Jhod was not available to present it. Resolution: the event will not happen in this case.

  • Incorrect visualization for results of Pitax Influence events. Resolution: fixed.
User Interfaces

  • Many tutorial illustrations have been updated.

  • Carry weight: there used to be no notification on party overload. Resolution: fixed.

  • Inspect: the DCs of checks that must be passed to reveal information about enemies were added to the Inspect window.

  • There was no information on the Favored Enemy bonus with ranged attacks in the Combat Log. Resolution: fixed.
Classes & Mechanics

  • Some effects from cleric Domain Powers did not provide bonuses. Resolution: fixed.

  • Some cleric Domain Powers did not show the proper number of charges left on the control panel. Resolution: fixed.

  • Aldori Defender's ability Defensive Parry was only giving +1 AC regardless of character level. Resolution: fixed.

  • Wild Hunt Archer's Attack bonus increased every time they attack targets in some specific cases. Resolution: fixed.

  • Players couldn't level-up Octavia using a premade build. Resolution: fixed for players that haven't had Octavia as their companion yet.

  • Enhancing your weapon for +2 with Arcane Weapon Enhancement while Enduring Blade was on resulted in only a +1 bonus. Resolution: fixed.

  • Enabling more expensive Arcane Weapon Enhancements for Magus and Divine Weapon Enhancements for Paladin would not always disable the proper amount of previously used enhancements and did not properly recalculate the enhancement bonus left. Resolution: fixed.

  • Bonuses to attack and damage from Shield Master feat were not showing up on the character screen. Resolution: fixed.

  • Shield Master feat did not negate the penalty you suffer on your attack rolls with a shield when fighting with two weapons. Resolution: fixed.

  • The Lantern King's Curse restricted characters' caster level and didn't impact on outgoing healing. Resolution: fixed.

  • Balance adjustment: the Dаmage Reduction and Energy Resistance of enemies is halved on Normal difficulty and disabled on Story difficulty.
Miscellaneous

  • Some bow models could make the character model invisible in the Inventory. Resolution: fixed.

  • Linzi, Tristian and Jaethal could disappear from the party roster in some cases. Resolution: fixed. Affected players can pick up the missing character in the Capital.

  • Players were confused by the absence of a loading screen after the "baronation" event - there was just a long fade-out instead. Resolution: fixed

  • Short bows had visual issues while equipped on the back. Resolved: fixed.

  • Some fixes for death and fainting animations.

I tried using Nimbus of Light ability from Sun domain recently and found it useless. Apparently enemies get a Fort save and if they pass, ability has no effect. That sounds normal until you check combat log and see that the DC is 11 :D :D
If they followed the rules, Domain ability DC is supposed to be 10 + half cleric level + Wisdom modifier.... should have been 24 in that battle.. a kind of a significant difference. Ability is pretty strong (blindness to all enemies in 30 foot radius) if it actually functioned as expected..

okay the Holy Sword spell SHOULD NOT stack with frigging everything
As for now you can even turn Ekun's Dog into crusading dog
But as in PnP... it would be a quite useless spell I guess since moment you get it you already can have +4 weapon.
It would only be useful for pets then.

I like the idea of Keen enhancement on x3 one-hander tho as something you always check on paladin's favorite weapon enchancement.

the hardest fight in the game?

I only won through totally blitzing right at the start, on challenging. Tripped him on the opening move, 3x fully buffed, hasted, legendary proportioned melee on him, Octavia opens with Disintegrate x2 and then spam Magic Missiles, Tristan with Flamestrike and Dispel Magic. Took many reloads. Once he does his buffs and heals, I won't be able to kill him.

I never understood why people have so much trouble with him. I seemed to be able to take him down with 6 characters by standard routine of pre-buffing and doing lots of damage.

But this ending skipped the final act and the summary... wasn't very satisfying. Shouldn't be there something about companions, not only kingdom stats?

I also never got companion slides if I finished game through Shyka-path. Didn't get any for Evil playthrough even finishing Ch 7 either.

It might be all the buggy baggage from many fixes. Only got some companion slides on my 1st playthrough in beta for LE char after doing Ch 7, and not even all of them.
