Ch.7 is much better than ch.6.
Managed to clear the curse without even resting because I'm an imbecile that didn't talk to the Storyteller I'm hardcore like that. :obviously: Initial reaction was that the curse is some over the top shit, but it was good fun especially fighting the big bads again while being handicapped and running low on buffs and spells and blowing through a lot of the stash of consumables I lugged around since forever.

Suppose all that's left to do now is bitch slap the Lantern King...

edit: One weird thing that happened was that Nok Nok and Jubilost randomly got assploded after arriving at the camp for the first time and now their portraits are grayed out but they still have a health bar. No fucking clue what the hell happened since they both survived the House.
Agreed that Ch 7 is better (until you get to the capital at least) especially with making you actually use your consumable hoard :incline:
LK's curse drains you to level 1, so if any of your companions had level drain when he curses you, they'll die.

So that little stack of boxes in monster base in Pitax which could not be looted before patch all that time had
+5 runeblade agile shock scimitar and +3 sai that gives 2 extra attacks
:dealwithit:
Does weapon finesse even work with an Agile Scimitar unless you have Slashing grace (Scimitar) already? I didn't think it did.

Yeah, I just started the capitol and, to be honest, I've no will to continue, I fucking hate these fuckers, not to mention it has one thing that I absolutely loathe - motherfucking paratroopers out of fucking nowhere.
No, they weren't level drained, they just died.
At least it's short but it is the most tedious part of the game. I really hope it gets revised at some point.
Weird, the same thing happened with Jubilost for me but he had -2 levels in the Nyrissa fight so I attributed it to that

I have problems with barbarians (spoilers) :
I killed fake Armag, because I thought he is too dangerous to left alive. But at the exit of tomb, Gwart offer to choose leader for them and he only choice. I decided that this is very strange, so I started search about it. And I find out that there is also Dugath can be candidate if he alive. But in my game he is alive and respected me, but still Gwart only choice. Is this a bug? Also some doors in Armag's tomb didn't open, but according information from guides they should.

It's bugged, don't think anyone got to choose Dugath, we all whined here we kept him alive (and lost out on his loot :argh:) and couldn't choose him.

There are doors in the tomb you can only access if you pass the high Athletics check during the first storybook event, the ice trial.
The barbarian chieftain outcome
is bugged, I don't think anyone has been able to nominate Dugath yet

I can confirm that it will indeed distract you from failing at life.

Well if you're currently depressed and of the opinion that 'life is shit and then you die' ... I can second that there is enough going on in this game to distract you.
Just don't blame anyone if you sink several weeks into this greate game, a bug happens, and then your entire game dies

Thank you all very much for answers. Well, sadly it seems luck not on barbarians side today. Bugs of this kind is fucking annoying :argh::argh::argh::argh::argh::argh: I guess right now I much closer to "Heart of Bugs" and situation will be only worse. :negative:

I have. It worked fine for me. At least I could pick him and the conversation went on normally. I guess I'll find out if the game registered it in the final chapter.
Wow, this is a really good news, you really need to make a screenshot of ending slides, it would be interesting.

It's from the lindwyrm(sp?) that's at the bridge area to the east of your capital. Specifically, a dead mage behind it has it on him. Don't remember specifically what it does, haven't played for a while now.
I think Crag Linnorm has it in his stash.
Oh, wait, yes, I have that one, on my Eldritch Archer/Eldritch Scion coal-burner. The top-hat. I gave it to Regongar, because he looks absolutely baller in it, combined with the wyvern cloak and the adamantine chainshirt. He's also the only one I can imagine actually wearing it unironically, and I guess I've got a LARPing streak when it comes to these things.

I didn't realize that it also increased the carrying weight of the one wearing it, because it doesn't say that in the description and I only noticed party carry weight increasing. It's a bit weird, honestly, since the things you're wearing obviously isn't inside of the hat. By this logic, you should also be able to carry bags of holding in your belt in order to increase personal carry weight. Which is absurd. Just as absurd as us not being able to stack some damn potions or scrolls in our belt.

Up until now I have been nodding in accord with the overwhelming majority of post you, sir, have made; but I have to say you have no fashion sense whatsoever - that top hat and chain suite was obviously tailor made for Nok-Nok. I'm just dissapointed in Owlcat over the lack of a monocle.

It is unbelievable that the best praise i heard about this game is that if you have nothing to do other than die, it is a good distraction so long as a bug does not delete your game...

Yet the same people claim PoE II was bad...

I think codex should display the IP-location of every poster, (and ban proxies too), so we know how many english speaking russian developers promote their game here.:terminate:

Funny thing most of hidden SJW stuff I learned by reading other posts. Stuff like what Luna says I just skipped because it was some unvoiced introductory line and I concentrate on important information.

The only person I shut down on purpose during my first playthrough was Regongar. But then if you put him on advisor position he suddenly is all bro, combat drugs for maximum effectiviness, maximum arcane power in the army, pure awesome. So... eh?

Oh, one other way I learned stuff was from Nereid Aura. You see, it only affects creatures who like womyn. And Valerie and Amiri are immune, but Linzi and Octavia aren't, or that's how I remember it from some anecdotal evidence of me fighting Nereids a few times with them in party.

The female power of Valerie and Amiri who were BOTH beaten up by men in their quests and you can't do anything about it also eluded me. Although I guess they are both mary sue anyway if you finish their quests proper.

As for Dragonspear, it is pretty obvious why people talked about it - it's because writers trashed companions people liked through all these years.

I haven't finished the game yet, but the thing I found more concerning than anything else is the gradual creep of 'not all races are evil'. I wanna adventure and just wipe out a Xvart village whenever I feel like it, and if my character ends up in the hells (like Stygia) I expect to be in the company of evil bastards - not to find the gay demons dancing on ice with the gay devils while the succubi give them ratings out of 10.
Unfortunately, I think that's somewhat in the direction publishers like Paizo will push developers.

Well it seems now my Good baron is a murderer of Paladins. And I only
told Valerie to choose herself if she wants a trial or not. Didn't expect everyone to go hostile immediately when she said no.

Is the
troll fight in House at the Edge
the hardest fight in the game?

I only won through totally blitzing right at the start, on challenging. Tripped him on the opening move, 3x fully buffed, hasted, legendary proportioned melee on him, Octavia opens with Disintegrate x2 and then spam Magic Missiles, Tristan with Flamestrike and Dispel Magic. Took many reloads. Once he does his buffs and heals, I won't be able to kill him.
Jubilost melted him with his bombs. This seems to be the default answer in my game against singles. Against groups it's sirocco/tar pool and now also polar midnight.

I think I'll take a break for now. Party has arrived at the house at the edge of bug singularity and the plot took a turn into soap opera territory.
I took special care with the healbot, because Harrim's quest bugged out, and managed to convince his goddess to take his sorry ass back. Except she apparently isn't that stupid (not that I blame her) and made a deal with Pharasma, so Jaethal comes back from the dead and kills him. The same Jaethal my druid tried to kill during her quest, but that one bugged out too, so he had to convince her to lightning strike herself instead.

Lovely, now the party has no cleric. They also have no inquisitor, because I wasn't planning on letting an undead join my druid, so I've turned her into a sorceress as an experiment. And even though she now works for a goddess that hates undead, she is still undead herself. Oh, and she has grown angel wings for some reason.

So now the party has an undead winged elf sorceress. Ah well, at least she also has sirocco.

I suppose this is the silde you wanted?
Game is won, the ending slides were satisfying and the final slide was quite bittersweet since I kind of liked Linzi. Time for a 2nd run, maybe I managed to learn something and git gud in the mean time (or at least not suck as much). :)
No that is the slide for
Armag as chief, not Dugath.
I got the same one.
Agreed that the ending felt poignant if you like Linzi, looking forward to starting fresh when the DLC start to come out.

Biggest letdown is use magic device skill. Maybe I had a low number but I could not fake alignment and such. Shame
That part of the skill is not implemented. You use it only for access to wands and scrolls.

Was there an alignment restriction on the heavy platemail (think it was meant for Paladins) that you got after the puzzle in the Dwarven ruins?. I

Any Good alignment can wear it, not just LG I believe.

Oh fuck, sorry my mistake, I got the 2 confused, sorry I've been hitting the booze tonight.

Men, those 2 weapons are sick as fuck.
Yes, but does an agile scimitar even work with Weapon Finesse, or just give dex to damage? I thought you needed slashing grace to get Dex to hit with a scimitar.

Is there any explanation why you can't loot the corpses of the NPCs Nyrissa kills in Ch6? That still makes gets me :argh:

She uses finger of death on them, right? That's what the animation looks like.

Well it might be a "bug" or it may be cut due time feature, probably gonna be fixed.
