That's what I want to play, you freaking morons!
Well, may be I will have to deal with the plot hole the size of Deadfire...

P.S.: and that fine mantlegen above was relying on Kingmaker's path prediction and, apparently, did not succeed. I wonder why...

Ew, a woman made the turn-based mod? I hate women in gaming, just like Kotaku says I do, so I will now send her some death threats. Now, where did i put her email address...

Is the game actually broken or is this a catastrophizing moment? Galaxy downloaded like a 26gb patch today, so it might have broken everything, who knows.

So, is the game alright with the new turn based mode? Not that many bugs and etc cause new patch? Or should I wait a bit until game is more stable with the new stuff?

Guys, automatic updates are a nuisance, not a feature, being able to control that is one of the main benefits of GOG over Steam. Just use the offline installers and patch a game when you need to, not whenever the publisher feels like shoving their shiny new "improvements" down your ethernet port.

I didn't remember the Giant Centepede in Old Sycamore being that difficult. You get lots of indications something bad is near, so I was able to scout it. I used that spell recall feature to re-memorize the Level 2 Delay Poison. Centepedes may be immune to prone (Grease), but they are not immune to Web. Wands and scrolls also really help out in tough fights, especially early on. Kingmaker is generous with them.

Web doesn't do much. Blind is your all purpose condition.
Web locks opponents in place so you can murder their friends in peace and then shoot them from afar. It might be useless against ranged opponents, but it takes melee ones out of the fight. It has its uses. Not every centipede is a spitter.

The big guy is.

Blindness is a great condition, but you must know your enemies. Great against Fey since it targets Fortitude, not great against large brutish monsters which abound in Kingmaker. Web targets reflex, which is typically effective against that type. Web also functions as difficult terrain. Since all characters should have a ranged weapon, plopping a web between you and a distant enemy can give you lots of time to whittle large opponents down, congregate a mass for AoE, or funnel of a horde so you can aggro them to your desired tank. Having that tank march around the periphery of the spell, while the rest of your troupe assails the enemies with arrows and spells will allow a team to overcome odds they wouldn't normally.

Large brutish monsters like these?

anyone tried the warpriest from the call of the wild mod? thinking of making a custom merc.

Its um decent. Need to need the feats. Best using a low dice weapon since your damage dice goes up independent of weapon. Also in a group that gets a lot of rest since so much of your stuff is rnd/lvl.

Getting crashes with the new update in turn based mode, although I am playing with some mods though (made sure to get the latest versions), namely COTW, Favored Class, and Bag of Tricks. As soon as the big fight in the prologue starts the game freezes and crashes

on the back of a T34.
call of the wild adds feats that allow the usage of bucklers with 2handed weapons so i can finally use amiri at the front line.
question is should i change her weapon to greataxes/greatswords or wait for OVIRPAINNNNN?

Why would a buckler change a lot?
Her saving throws are really bad too.
