To me needing to buff means that there is a failure of design somewhere. Either directly with the encounter or with the game mechcanis themselves. All encounters should be beatable without buffs or summons.

I doubt they paid extra for it. If anything Paizo probably had it as part of licensing Pathfinder to them to try to generate more brand recognition or some shit, so people who only play the CRPG might see Amiri in some tabletop book and be marginally more inclined to buy it for whatever reason.

when you guys do the bokken '' potion '' quest, heal him after the end of the quest.

Give him the amulet that gives him +2d6 sneak attack too. BAM is the real protagonist in Kingmaker.

Thank god for nexus mods. The fast movement and throne room warp mods are amazing. I also got the respec mod to unfuck all the characters. I ended up leaving their build concepts mostly intact, they just needed some optimizations.

-Valerie lost Con and gained Str. Left her tower shield fighter/stalwart defender. Also changed her portrait to maker her actually hot
-Amiri lost her dumb toughness feat, gained dodge and more dex. I could have made her a fighter but eh, left her a barb for the hell of it
-Octavia is still an Arcane trickster but with the evoker specialty. Got rid of her con penalty.

One thing I noticed is how inferior Amiri's stats are, with a measly 20 point buy she's no better than a merc. Valerie gets 27, Octavia gets 29, Ekun gets like 32 or something. Octavia's stats are dumb because she sacrifices 2 points of con for an odd point in dex, bad tradeoff. They all seem to have bonus points in Cha for their adviser roles, so I left that intact.

I also swapped out everyone's cleave feats for Outflank and combat reflexes; I'll have them take Sieze the moment and then we'll see what kind of depraved orgy of violence erupts any time someone crits.

Pitax is finally getting some love in the next hotfix:

Hello everyone!
Pitax bug turned out to be really complicated one. We just fixed the issue that most likely caused it - the solution will show up in hotfix 1.0.10. However, it's still possible that this bug has different sources - we'll know it by tomorrow when we'll test our current solution with different saves provided by the players. If you have this bug and haven't sent us a save yet - it's the right time to do it.

There were some associated bugs like Linzi & the Academy cutscene not working - they should be fixed by now.

So I went to Oleg's after finishing the Womb dungeon and Bokken dropped dead. Is there a fix for this (I'm on version 1.07)? Does he keep bringing me alchemy goodies regardless?

Also, has anyone found the 10th piece of the Forest Knight's Bracer set? I double checked a few guides and they're all missing that last piece, just like me.

you can heal boken after the quest or change the files ( his hp is negative because of the hits you do in the quest and the game never heals him )

that said changing the files may be risky with upcoming hotfixes

fortitude or prone?
stages of debuffs from -2 to -6?

Isn't that a lot of effects for Evocation? and it counts as Fire, i.e. Elemental Focus: Fire adds DC to it. Fire Robe also adds DC for total of DC30 for me.

And the final touch - the save is Fortitude. So all the speedy rogues - GGWP.

Oh and many Fey seem like they count as Water creatures so - double damage.

Can magus learn any spell from wizard list at any point in time from a scroll or only spells they have in their list? I only ask because they haven't put Hurricane Bow in the list of the spells for Eldritch archer.

Magus learns like Alchemist - only scrolls from his own spell selection.

And that is still too much for any "sorcerer" like, they should have even more strict spell selection based on who their mommy had loves with.

At level 19 you get to pick one spell per level from the Wizard list, as a regular Magus at least.
