I ran out of regents. I picked that neutral guy at the coronation, but he's gone. I read you could get Octavia or Valerie for the position, but I killed Octavia and Valerie never joined me. Wat do

Turn on auto kingdom management and the one that makes your kingdom indestructible. Then enjoy not having to deal with the game's crappy kingdom stuff.

how is possibile to kill or miss companion in this game?

I went to deal with Tristan first - wasted time to do amiri quest right. Chose to keep Abadon Oculus ( It may have some content for it) and Tristan was like - "forgive me for what i have to do" tried to attack me - and died when I stabbed him like 2 times, no biggie. Story teller got spooky story(more like foreshadowing) for Oculus. I mean I never liked him as companion anyway, I'm just not sure if he is essential in any way for an endgame.

The best part about the game is that there's no cheats/cheat engine that lets you pull yourself out of shit when your kingdom goes from "Stable" to "Troubled" for literally no fucking reason whatsoever. There's no active Barbarian raid, no monsters spawning, no Pitax shenaginans, no Failures or Disasters, even the Druids are singing my praises, I've reached Loyalty Rank 10 etc. but nope, still goes from "Stable" to "Troubled" in two weeks, because fuck you, dear player, that's why.

What an absolute mess.

How far are you in the game?

Edit: I ask this because Armag's quest will destroy the kingdom no matter what ... if it's not done in time.

My kingdom stats. Good or bad?

And I finally got a named Greatsword from the Artisan.

The damage is lower than Greatsword +2 but I will not complain.

At least it's a new weapon I can try.

Ok, after some testing it seems bracers of archer and aspect of the falcon gives a +1 competence bonus to ranged attacks that at first looks like it is not added to your attack but if you watch your combat log closely and add all the bonuses and penalties yourself you will notice your total attack bonus is larger than all listed values and that difference is exactly what bracers or aspect give.

I'm at the same point quest-wise as you (need to go to capital to get Coronated, will delay a bit), but date 20th II. Similar stats but have 59 BP atm.

Not sure whether to take the crown immediately or dick around first.

Really annoying that the artisan quest items spawn only after you get the quest, having to backtrack to empty areas is retarded. At least respawn the mobs or something.

Or just let you pick up the item immediately, it has a yellow background anyway.

How exactly is concealment supposed to work? 20% concealment equals a roll of 1d100 and everything under 80 hits?
Because I get the feeling that might be bugged.

I did not realize that upgrading in rank in some domain will reveal another advisor post.

Like upgrading Relations is enabling Spymaster.

It's not a Stun, it's a Paralyze effect, countered by Freedom of Movement. Have your Cleric cast one on each party member and Wild Faggots go down easily.

I noticed. Even with freedom of movement those fags are hard as nails and annoying as shit. The whole place is complete garbage, as far as gameplay goes.

Dunno, so far I've only fought the Wild Hunt at Bald Hilltop. 2 casts of a 6th Level spell (Sirocco) were enough to neutralize them all while Ekun stacked Lawful Cold Iron arrows up their asses. Sirocco is one sick fucking spell, lemme tell you.

One of my characters never got Octavia or Regongar. I had gotten them on my previous two characters, but the third? No Tecnic Slaver encounter. Not even when I saved the game and wandered the map until the clock ran out.

Chapter 4 had some legit cool shit in it, I wonder if Avellone worked on that one. Really liked those reactivity and mystery aspects of it.

Raven looking up names and how the return to the barbarian camp unfolds to be exact.
Vordakai's tomb felt a bit infuriating though. It was essentially a game of rocket tag, I could murder any cyclope in around 1,5 turns if my tower shield specialist procced trip, but couple of bad rolls and tiny mishaps in positioning decimated my party in seconds. The bosses felt like the easiest enemies.

Man I'm giving up for today. Was hoping to finish the game but The House on the Edge of Time is bullshit and made me turn it off for now. Buggy, poorly explained, poorly thought out and poorly balanced.

Coronation seems like a good time to build up kingdom, the penalties are only -2/month. Only issue is I have several visitors piled up.

So, perhaps this will help someone. Bug-related PSA for house at the end of time:

You have to find three keys. One - fuck knows where. And two you get from Nyrissa's henchmen - the tree witch and the worm dude. You can either kill them both or make a deal with one to kill the other.

So, I don't know what exactly triggers this bug, but if you help the witch and kill the dude, there's a chance that when you go back to her, she becomes uninteractable and just stands there. Reloading or relaunching the game does nothing. I was sure my game was fucked since you can't damage friendly NPCs with spells either.

However, after some experimentation, it turned out that while you can't damage them directly, draining their stats works, so I just cast a bunch of cloudkills and sat there for a few minutes while they did their thing.

Now I have two keys, on a quest to figure out where to find the third one.

To get the third key at the House at the Edge of Time -

Clear Level 2 and on the south east side of the map there's a well that will take you to the cellar again, except this time in a different part. You'll then need to move through the fog in a specific direction in a specific room, which can be finicky (as where it takes you depends on which fog direction you go through) - see this Youtube video for how to get it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e0ym_Gsfng0
