So I'm fighting a Demon and I notice it's not going down even after it takes well over 800 points of damage, it's health bar simply remains static. "That's fine", I think, "it probably needs some special material to finish it off". To my memory, however, Demons/Devils are simply resistant to types of materials other than Silver and don't need such weapons to be brought down (it only makes it easier) and I don't recall any Silver weapons in the game. So I start Googling to find the solution.

Lo and behold, the quest in which you have the encounter is a Codex-backer quest (https://rpgcodex.net/forums/index.php?threads/pathfinder-kingmaker-codex-quest-ideas.119800/page-4) and according to other Forums, the fight is actually bugged so that the Demon is immortal.

The fact that it's possible to be this incompetent as a developer is nothing short of mind-blowing.:lol::lol:

Reload and kill him faster - if you don't kill him within a certain amount of time his regen never stops. (It's certainly doable, but nevertheless it may be a bug)

I bring him down to under 10% HP within the first 3 rounds, the problem is that the health bar remains static after that. I also don't see how his 5 HP/round regen is supposed to keep him alive against Amiri doing roughly a 100 damage to him per round (plus other party members). It's definitively a bug.

I'm presuming you've tried acid and other options - I've killed him multiple times, but there may be a condition or something that has broken on your save in that map.

One question, I'm starting chapter 4 soon. Are there any mage duels in this game like in Baldur's Gate 2?

Insert Title Here RPG Wokedex Codex Year of the Donut I'm very into cock and ball torture
By the powers, it took me all day but I finished Chapter 1, in 23 days, and managed to stick to one character all the way through after many, many rerolls. (A female plain monk)

But holy Christ, I am NOT prepared for this barony shit. It's completely overwhelming for my very small brain. I am unsure what strategy I should pursue. Did you all just pick whatever looked good?

Can't say I encountered a single bug in all my characters and hours I spent in Chapter 1, so that part is good to go.

Pick the advisers your Baroness agrees with, build only economic buildings and shit you need for missions only until you built robust economy and remember to return to capital every month. I know those loading screens are terrible horror to withtand but close your eyes and think about Ze Reich Comrade.

To add to this, make sure you're in your capital around the beginning of each month, and be careful of when you do the 14 day events, as you can't do anything else when that time is passing.

put the kingdom management difficulty thing on easy, trust me, it'll still be cancer lategame but way less.

as for what you pick it s all about the stats fuck the flavor text.

researching about curses is not that important at all.

try to always be near the capital when a month starts.

crafters actually give more money than all your cities. and i mean every single one of they do.

if you ever drop to worried by failing a problem, you'll need a event to raise to stable again. if you drop to '' troubled '' you can only raise by event or 1000 fucking bp. never stay troubled because after act 4 because there s a quest that can drop you 2 ranks.

always have at least 100 bp in the treasure. there are events/choices that cost bp and negative bp can make you go to worried/troubled etc.

never upgrade a stat as soon as you reach the limit. if you drop the stat and have a higher rank than the possible as a result, you'll take the '' worried '' hit.

always check your '' bald hill top '' curse time. when it s about 16-30 days to fail , you'll have to check it and do a event at the capital.

it sounds way more complex than it is, but those 40 rolls late game are questionable at best.

So fellas, this still bugged as fuck, or worth trying by now?

there are barely any bugs until chapter 6 of 7.

Not sure if it's the last patch or something with my PC (or just transitioning to the Act III), but I had 10+ crashes yesterday, some with unity crash handler thing popping up. Really annoying, once it crashed immediately after I've beaten the demon trio in Vardakai (or whatever his name) crypt. Also, really liked this crypt, forced me to think a little and use the consumables in a judicious manner (if you go there, take lots of hero pots and restoration scrolls). The cyclops king provides a record amount of HAM (although he's still behind Lord Krull in 'Titan is MIIINE' and much less hilarious than Kaptin Bluddflagga), damn Arthas for his betrayal :argh: (had to press 'neutral good' to get him back, thankfully compensated that by taking soul jars along ith me :smug: - sure it'll get me bitten in the ass at some point)

3 companions because the rest died, is nowhere to be found or betrayed me.

Don't forget to turn off XP sharing then, at least what you got left will get more XP from fights. Maybe you even get one more level from it all.

If I remember correctly you only really need to fight 1 pack of them to finish this whole location. It's one which guards key. Everything else is optional. Well that and Throne room fight in the beginning.

Tales from Pitax.

My monk has now charge permanently disabled. It s curious because it even disabled it from saves way before it happened.

There s a golem in a tomb that can cast permanent aoe confusion that s also not possible to dispel. had to kill ekon then ressurect him. you can also '' talk '' with the confused character as if you are in the town.

If you do any event in the rushlight tournament before talking to that bella something bard she'll disappear and you'll fail linzi quest.
