From what I've seen of her, that seems extremely doubtful. Plus, HP seems so bloated on some monsters that 70 DMG per round is almost nothing.

No, sounds about right. Properly buffed, with Armag's sword and a bunch of levels in Two-Handed Fighter (for AB and damage bonuses) she really does blow things up. Still, pound-for-pound, Nok-nok will outdamage her by a decent margin if you keep leveling him as a Knife Master and he has STR drain + Trickery.

Regarding Sneak Attacks, in the Forgotten Realms setting, there are a butt load of creatures immune to them: Constructs, Undead, Elementals etc. Here, it seems everything is susceptible to Sneak Attacks. Does it really work that way in Pathfinder or is it a feature/bug introduced in the game?

I can't wait until my alchemist gets level 6 spells and can cast Transformation on Nok Nok :shredder:

Afaik it's pretty normal in Pathfinder pnp when it comes to monsters. Very few types immune. However what is not normal is how easy it is to get sneak attack damage due to changes in how flanking works in game and ability to use flanking to get sneak attack for ranged attackers.
But I was wrong only 5 minutes ago so take that into consideration.

I think her strong point should be +1 crit multiplier from lvl16 feat with late game weapons on broad range. E.g check Vanquisher, and there are quite a few similar weapons with either broaden crit range(stackable with keen/feat) or increased crit multiplier. So she should be on par with Nok Nok if you take it in consideration. But i dropped her before this point, so can't say for sure. Plus full BAB and rage attack bonus also matters a lot due to bloated enemy AC.

Sneak should work on undead in pathfinder i think and it is working in game.
It should not be applied to higher (elder/ancient) elementals and it's not applied in game.
Idk about constructs.

Sneak attack does not work on anything that does not have head, arms, legs and such since you have no critical parts to sneak attack. But that list is fairly small. It is all elementals, gelatinous cube and incorporeal undead like ghosts or wraiths since they are nothing but negative energy.

Finally got my barony. Rerolled as a str druid for wildswhape shenanigans, then got annoyed and dropped difficulty to story mode at the stag lords fort. It was just too frustrating with everything set to normal but with somewhat tougher enemies. I smashed everything in the opening chapter to bits, only to have to cut the stag lords cronies up piecemeal. I was using every buff and potion at my disposal but the final standoff was impossible. Hisguys would tear through my frontliners like toilet paper, and that's with everyone at 4th level. I'm just gonna reroll again and try a different build, hopefully with nastier tricks, then play with normal enemies. Does anyone know how to get octavia's ai to stop defaulting to acid splash? She's way more effective with a +1 bow and I'm sick of having to adjust her every time.

Sneak in the game works on pretty much everything, that's what makes Nok-nok possibly the highest consistent-DPS companion. Works on Undead, works on Constructs, works on Elementals (although I'm not 100% sure if it works on Elder ones, I'd need to check). It makes Rogues a whole lot more useful than in Forgotten Realms.

I'm fairly certain Sneak Attack works even against ghosts in the game, I think I recall Non-nok wrecking those faggots in Armag's Tomb that drain levels on-hit.

There are undead that drain stuff that are not incorporeal creatures.

I would gladly replace Amiri with Nok-Nok if not for his low STR and consequent encumbrance :( Wish I had bought from Bartholomew those bags of holding... and I don't get why I can still buy items from Jhod and not from him.

They are not even undead i think. They should be evil outsiders.

I believe the answer was to set auto-attack to something she can't use as auto-attack (like charge - she can't charge with bow equipped) she will then default to her weapon. At least that's what people on Steam said, haven't tested it myself.

Not those guys, they drain WIS, not levels. I think the ones I'm talking about are called "Specters" or something, they're ghostly-looking humanoids. Whether the game actually considers them incorporeal Undead, I have no idea.

Are you talking about soul eaters in V's tomb? I think that WIS drain can only be prevented by Fortitude save.

edit: Also, where's a decent glaive? Only found a +1 till now and it's getting a bit long in the tooth.

I know there's a +2 Flaming one fairly early in the game, can't for the life of me remember where exactly, though.

There's also a +5 one that does 2d6 Sonic Damage on hit and let's you cast a 9th-level spell once per day in Whiterose Abbey in the Pitax area

Flaming Glaive was the best weapon I've found for Amiri.

It's a low-key nitpick but when MCA had some of the writing edited to make it sound more natural they completely skipped the fucking "placeable" item descriptive texts. They're all in Russian-style.

For example:

"Statue is covered in blood."
"Chair is rusty and broken."
"Sparks surround orb."

No articles! It's jarring every time.

Left click on a spell and you deactivate auto-casting. Or activate the ones that can be auto-cast.

Edit: Also you can use a lot of help for the the Stag Lord fight. Try to recruit his right hand, kill his other hand and be nice with the OwlBear.

Guys help me out please. My Harrim suddenly decided he doesn't want to run anymore. He just walks. Not encumbered, has +10 movement speed boots on, no party encumbrance, no bad weather. He's just being a dick I suppose. I tried couple of solutions offered on steam (such as stealth on/off, reload, reinstall (!), pause on/off), nothing works. Pls halp, this is ruining my game.

When it happened to me, reloading fixed the issue.
Did you try remove curse? Treat affliction? Reloading a previous savegame (one where Harrim ran normaly)? Using Haste?

Vordakai fight is probably the easier fight in the whole dungeon.

This game really treats mages (and so liches) badly.

Seems none of them are. I just fought Harulka and Tartuk at lvl 7, Harulka only lived 2 rounds, Tartuk only 1.
