If you strong enough to swing a +200 pound sword like a baseball bat doesnt matter if it thick it WILL cut through with that amount of force behind it and its weight.

Did you guys watch the new 3d one? I started it but it felt "wrong"
There's one thing I love in the weak ass 3d anime, it's the sound that the dragonslayer makes everytime guts waves it around.
Tings go CLUUUUUNK

A lot of people hate that, and I understand why. This is nothing like I would have imagined the sword, or any, to sound like, yet I fucking love it everytime I hear this insane, out-of-this-world heavy rusty metal sound.

Listen to that shit

What we called "raccoon in a dumpster" first time we watched this shit. Ridiculous.

Note: This is the last video for a week or so due to life stuff.

The bandits retaliate at Oleg's Trading Post as expected, but we're ready like a ready thing. What's the haps, Happs? A safe night's rest, a strange fog, a dreamy nymph, our first round of obligatory companion chats, and then it's off to hunt the Stag Lord! An odd stranger offers us guidance.

New Race Unlocked - Join The Forum Poll!

Dear Pathfinders,

When our Kickstarter campaign ended, we promised that all funds generated by pre-orders and pledge upgrades on https://owlcatgames.com/preorder would go towards unlocking new stretchgoals. And we are happy to announce that the next milestone, a crowdfunding sum of over $1 million, has been reached thanks to your generous help and support! Thank you so much for believing in us!

Our exact crowdfunding sum is now at $1.026.681

This means that we now have the resources to add one more playable race to Pathfinder: Kingmaker. And you get to help us decide which race it's going to be! We have opened a poll on our forums, where all backers get to vote for one of three possible new races. The three options are as follows:

1. Aasimar
2. Dhampir
3. Elemental*

*Humans, whose family trees include elemental beings. If elementals win the vote, we will add playable Sylphs, Undines, Ifrits and Oreads.

You can vote right now by visiting this thread on our dev forums:

https://owlcatgames.com/forums/showthread.php?4221-The-Extra-Race-Poll

Please note - you can only see this thread if you have transferred your Kickstarter pledge to our backer portal or if you are a preorder backer. If you need help transferring your pledge, send a message to team@owlcatgames.com

Thank you once again for making this possible! And who knows - perhaps we can even reach the next milestone of $1.1 million and unlock a new playable class - Hellknights.

They are intimidation, relentlessness, and unwavering conviction. They are the black-gauntleted fist of absolute order. They are the Hellknights! Provide your character with even more options to choose from, including unique abilities and items for the Hellknights, as well as the quest line dedicated to the their presence in the Stolen Lands. Face them on the field of battle or fight by their side - the choice is yours to make.

The Mac Beta is here!

Our first beta build went live a few days ago for everyone who pledged at the $95 level or higher and everyone who pre-ordered the $110 Early Access tier. Unfortunately, there was a technical issue, which delayed the start of the beta version for Mac users. We are happy to announce that the issue has been found and is now fixed. The Mac beta is now live! Sorry for the extra wait, dear Mac users.

Hail to the Kings!

The game as a whole looks promising, as it seems to implement the D&D 3.5 rules quite good. But the enviroments are kinda bland and random, not much going on in terms of variety. Grassy plains after grassy plains, throw in some rocks and trees and repeat. The engine seems kinda limited. I hope, there will be some good and big dungeons to explore. The Forgotten Tomb was too small.

If they stick to the adventure path I don’t think you should get your hopes up

Good, big dungeons were the most irritating part of BG.

I agree. Variety > size, otherwise I get bored easily. IW2 was a nightmare for me, I never finished it.

"Dhampir"?! Here we go again...

Dhampir is a real life folklore term for a half-vampire. Hey, what kind of Bulgarian are you https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dhampir
In Bulgarian is "Глогът",accurate translation will be "thorn". In most folk tales they are vampire hunters, because of thy are able to see them. It will be interesting if they use they whole legends and not just some bloke that bites people.
Vampire could become a dead man that have been passed something over him or jumped over by cat or dog,or left alone during the night. This is for the day after he is died until he is put to rest. That is why we have a person watch over him for the time, also there should be fire in the room,it is ok if it is from candle. Also his eyes should be shut and there should be left two silvers during the burial. If a person becomes a "Плътеник" vampire(literally fleshling),he will be a shadow that torments people at night while sleeping and sucking their energy. A lot of nightmares and sleep paralyse could be said to be a doing of vampires. If it is not killed for 40 days he become more powerful and could roam the land during the day and looks more like creature/zombie. If it lives for more than 6 months it becomes intelligent and acquires human form aka the movie vampire.

I should have paid more attention in my cultural antropology courses.

The Albanian etymology sounds unconvincing at first glance.

Change your portrait to Geralt. (just so I can screenshot this post)

Aasimars sound faggy so of course they're winning. Hellknights sound :obviously: as fuck, so of course we're not going to get them. :argh:
Aasimars in the pathfinder wiki sound like the materialized wet dreams of a teen weeb with serious insecurities. But the Dhampir portrait that's a mix between Harry Potter Daniel Radcliffe, Count Dracula and PoE's Ydwin takes the prize :D

Edge-knights are so much better. What happened to the olden days when it was the actual player who had to come up with a character concept.
