how did you do backwater dungeon ? It's so draining on ressources it seems impossible for a caster.
Scrolls helps a lot. Also, you don't need to cast spell every turn. You have party members, try to bring powerful companions with powerful "at will abilities" and focus your spellbook mostly in buffing your party. Summoning also helps as you with lucky can end two encounters casting a single spell. Wands also helps a lot.
There are moments in the game which you need to wait things to unfold. Why not use this time to write dozens of scrolls?
Also, when preparing spells, think in ways to do the most with the less amount of spell slots. For example, a lot of people like quicken spell I think that it is not great cuz it leads to spending more spells in less time. Till about lv 8, most of my spells was party supporting and summoning spells, then become half/half, half offensive, half support and only in high level that I had mostly offensive spells prepared.
Exploiter Wizard also can help a lot since he can ""cast"" exploits..
Pirated it. Jesus what a fucking cringefest. Any retard saying that this shit is better than Baldur’s Gate 3 should check if there’re any available euthanasia services near him. Jesus.
And it is way better than BG3.
I already finished the game once playing as a dhampir cruoromancer following the lich patch and loved the game so much. This is by far the best modern RPG. Better ruleset. Better story. Better
less awful companions(not that WoTR has good companions). Better athmosphere. Better necromancy. Better spells. Better classes. Better dungeons. Better combat, with faster animations(...)
There is nothing which bg3 does better. BG3 is the worst D&D/Pathfinder CRPG if we don't consider complete bastardizations like sword coast legends.
