Man, I was joking before but I finally got to playful darkness and am failing hard.
I'm too stubborn to just move on but too dumb to actually beat it.

What spells even fucking do attribute damage? None that I took at least.
I've tried all the positive energy damage I can, I can take maybe like 200 HP off him, but that doesn't even dent his health bar.
The only reason I can even last a few rounds is because Seelah has the Mythic feat where she won't die for a few rounds per day.

As a practical workaround until it gets fixed, just use dimension door.

Anyone use the cleaner mod? Did it make any significant changes? My load times and save times are getting a lot longer, unbearably so. The load times in the beginning were quick and now every time I quick save it all pauses for a couple seconds. My pc is shit so that's obviously the problem but would the mod make a significant enough change? My save files in the beginning of my chapter 4 playthrough are about 15 MB.

I did it by trail and error. The correct side is the left of the hallway.
Weirdly enough I don't remember this part from the last time I did Drezen, but maybe I just moved in from the other end.

I keep my saves to ~5 and don't notice any issues. 2 manual saves for critical situations and 2 or 3 quicksaves.

e: TB is a fucking pathfinding nightmare and worst of all you end up losing your entire turn and cant even cancel the broken move order.

It’s same as with kingmaker, cleaner mod is a must have to prevent save file bloat.

My go-to solution for now is to make Seelah into the Skald. She is perfectly statted for one, and 1 lvl of the paladin is not exactly wasted since I plan to get the second much later for Divine Grace.

Gaah, the rp stuff around the Azata path is pure Tumblr faggotry. I really wanted that zippy magic but I didn't realize it would come with such a heavy price tag. I feel my character is soiled now

afaik azata can be switched from into other paths just like aeon and some others can later.

OK, but ask the average person if they want to be Frodo and/or Sam.

Average no. Experienced player would gladly play kind hearted Sam.

HOw you guys spend 70 hours in two chapters? I completed the game in 54 hours... Played in RtWP mode with a small parfty. Was casting tier 8 magic in chapter 2(merging spellbooks). While in kangmaker, in my first run, I ended in lv 16.

I take my time. Just returned to Drezen after finishing with the Abyss.

(It should be noted that I did go a few times through the prologue and first chapter until I finally settled on a character tho.)

Turn based combat takes longer. I'm at nearly 70 hours at the clock though I'd probably take 10-15 hours off due to reloads and A LOT of reading. I'm not quite finished Drezen as I just passed the balor 'fight'.

My first run was 90 hours but I did everything I could. Only last crusade quest remained because that neeeded heavy grind.
You really missed some content there, some companions side quests are really nice (suprisingly Nenio takes the lead)

Yeah thought that one but impossible for lich as far as I know, I'll just have to use the skeleton champ bard.
Or I can go Aeon for them crazy immunities, that fuckers become immune to nearly everything late game.
