Child Crusader, eh. No offense to the writers, but not interested.
There was, at one point, in our history where we sent children on a crusade. If they're going there, where there's child murder or children killing people, this is gonna be a hard R game.

I would absolutely love it, but it's a huge risk to take.

The Children's Crusade never occurred, Wallachian comrade. That being said, the myth in itself fits well within a fantasy setting.

These "elves" from Pathfinder look very much like aliens, nothing like elves.

>A paladin rescued Ember from the flames, but her skin and her mind have never been the same since. She has forever remained a child.

I think they mean mentally. A child-like personality even though she's grown up.
Okay. After someone explained it to me. I now get it. She has the body of an adult, but acts like a child.

Elves SHOULD look like monsters or at least not attractive, because if they live longer than humans - their organs, metabolism and nerve system should be different and therefore their looks will be different from "human, but supermodel" type that abused by authors since Tolkien decided that monsters from ancient Norse mythology should be beautiful. If Tolkien had his vision on elves - it does not mean, that every single person should repeat it as robot.

Tolkien's vision works great because it portrays elves as the effeminate, snobby cunts that they are in opposition to the humans that get shit done and the hardy dwarves.

I'm sure there's no way that will be extremely annoying or obnoxiously twee; top notch idea there. Shit, let's add a romance. No pitfalls or minefields whatsoever.
I thought Linzi was going to be obnoxiously twee and bubbly at first but actually found her pretty well-written and endearing, by and large.
