The only thing that excites me is how close the game is to homm4. Creating an army from the cities we have established, acting with our army and of course homm / TB mode.. Freely navigate the entire map (without a road map). Now owlcat will try to do what 3DO tried to do years ago. This is really valuable. (At least for me)

Why for those who call Homm4;
Heroes entering the battlefield + Setting up a hero group + isometric angle..

I hope we will be able to see all of them.

It seems like we are going to be able to vote -

I just wanted to report that I got confirmation from Owlcat that all of us will be able to Vote on the Races individually.

The Kickstarter message was:
Hello,

Yes, you will be able to vote :) We will contact our rpgcodex fans regarding the rewards and their distribution later.

The ratfolk dream is not yet dead.

Familiars are a given. I'm hoping to god those "Design a Familiar" backer tiers mean they'll actually be modeled and follow your character around in-game

Dear god please, forget everything else. I just want proper li'l familiars and more of them to boot.

Familiars were already modeled and followed your character around in Kingmaker. They just weren't selectable.

I'm pretty sure SCS is harder than anything Kingmaker can offer, maybe except the ridiculous stat bloat at the beginning of Unfair. SCS is consistently hard and SCS Sarevok is one of the toughest RPG battles I've ever played, and that was with the overpowered-ness of the evil companions.
