Thank you. May I request the rules on these topics get reviewed between the mod team and consider a rules update please? I believe in free speech but this is an RPG forum, with developers posting here with their games/studios attached to the posts. I don't think that sort of discourse is of any benefit to the site or it's users in any way shape or form. It's only going to encourage the wrong sort of people to join in those discussions and feel welcome to have them here. Rather than having to make a thread on the topic or have my reports rejected, I would like to suggest the topic of lowering age of consent laws be made against the rules with a warning then a ban if repeated. That way dumb edgy people don't get banned for being dumb without a chance to course correct, but it keeps that sort of discourse off the forum.

Unfortunately I've been on the internet for a long time now and I've seen this type of discourse grow in many free speech places. It warps the entire concept into a fight between "if you don't defend this you don't believe in free speech. THIS issue is the entire purpose of free speech and must be said over and over." and "Fuck off you sick fuck, you should neck yourself". In the last 5 or so years it's become a constant cancer and it's worth considering if the codex rules need to be updated to protect it from the same malicious force that's killed many free speech spaces (intentional or not if up for you to decide).

This is the codex where opinions are tolerated that would otherwise be called racist, sexist, transphobic, homophobic, retarded and generally in poor taste but we are supposed to draw the line at discussions about the age of consent? This is very questionable and the moral fervor of him and some other posters who frequently insult others as pedophiles despite little to no evidence leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Agreed, but I don’t think Dark Souls II is just a troll. He explained to me in another now deleted discussion that he is for sex with teens/children if they are menstruating and then he posted a link about 12y old getting married to an adult.

Can we get some active moderation on the pedophile push on the forum please? I don't know if it's 'ironic' or an attempt at subversion but I've seen multiple threads on lolicon this week.
