Are you guys obsessed with SJWs or something
At first I wasn't gonna bother replying, since I don't know if Carrie Patel is an actual SJW and her name hasn't really popped up in SJW threads. Still, the neon hair looks kinda worrying.

She was the writer behind that stupid quest in Defiance Bay in which people are protesting against the unfair prices of pussy. Apparently, only rich people could pay prostitutes in Defiance Bay and that is a reason for a revolt. She is definitely a SJW. No doubts about it. But even if you ignore this, we know that she was hired because Obdisian adopts affirmative action in hiring practices and bragged about this in interviews.

Ah, right, VD's example of a bad quest in his PoE review. Should have known you couldn't possibly have your own opinion

If you wanted to criticize her for actual SJWy content, you would have brought up Maneha. But that would mean you actually had to play the game, and not just quote your hero ;)

Besides, she did design some good stuff, such as the encounters with the gods in Twin Elms.

But please disregard that, and tell us more about her hairdo and taste in romantic partners - these are the really important bits. :D

she actually sounded competent and articulate.

B-but she's a lady. With an unconventional hair style. Surely this is the worst thing to ever happen to the video game industry.

This. What the fuck is people's problem with Carrie Patel? Oh, she's a woman! KILL KILL KILL! DURRRRR DURRR DURRRR!
The problem isn't against Carrie Patel, that nobody fucking know about but against a certain type of person that usualy are women with unusual haircuts that have a tendency of being deranged feminists that hate everything and can't find joy on their life of pure bitterness. They have a tendecy of bringing their bile on everything they touch and this is what is worrisome.

Not a single world on system changes (other than multi-class) probably means it'll have the same impact-less incarnation of "meh, nothing matters, everything works" system as part 1.
Too bad, really, as that was the only thing that really needed an overhaul.
Not that I'd object to any of the other improvements.

Good to hear that battles might be harder, though. But of course, I'll have to see proof of that.

Why are so many of you getting worked up over someone who's already contributed a lot of writing to Pillars of Eternity?

I was thinking about that actually... so the box doesn't contain the digital version... what does that mean? Is it a steam-locked version? So if you want to get the physical version then no DRM-free for you? Lulz, jewing intensifies.

Well, if you pay an extra $30 you can get a GOG key. :)

But yeah, Steam-locked.

Of course, because if I say something you don’t like to hear, you can just automatically disregard anything I said with “You are just repeating Vault Dweller”. You are such a sophisticated, profound and nuanced person. I think the internet needs more posters like you.

I not only played this game from beginning to end, but I also read every single line in it. I read everything, every page of lore in the books I found, every backer fiction, etc. By the end of the game, I was completely and utterly disheartened. I will never play another Obsidian game in my life. The reason why I don’t remember more details is because everything in this game is meaningless, bland and forgettable. If you think that wasting space on your memory with trivia about this horrible game is a source of pride, you must not be right in the head. Better yet, just ignore everything I said because that's not my opinion. That's Vault Dweller's.

Project: Eternity
So, to change from that shitty subject, does anyone also think the stronghold will be replaced by a ship ?

Well, she might be the game's "Lead Writer" now.

Didn't she do an interview with the Codex a year or so ago? Seemed to slip under the radar back then... at least compared to now

Yep, interviewed by Hormalakh: http://www.rpgcodex.net/content.php?id=9438

Who ended up hating the game so much he played it for ten hours and then disappeared forever.

I think people have a misconception about the backer NPCs. All of those stories were written by Obsidian's writers. The backers only supplied some basic details about the NPCs.

Apart from the stupid haircut she even looks kind of cute, not really that bad if you ask me. I prefer to believe she is ok until proven otherwise :D
You are confirmed gay. She looked more like a tranny to me.

No, she is almost certainly a dyke.

Old photo of Carrie Patel and her husband:

Def a dyke.

Sawyer hates class-systems and was forced into doing this when Obsidian was bankrupting in 2012. He is a huge proponent of classless-systems, sheep.

We need to judge every female based on her looks as soon as we discover footage or a photo.

Yeah, we never judge any male based on his looks, ever.

Because she is in to broads? Stretch, though that is all that's needed for some.

But, I suspect a bug caused me to miss a fair bit of her dialogue (she kept repeating a certain conversation that probably should have only happened once every time I talked to her, right up until after the Thaos fight, where I got the backpat dialogue as usual). Her ending slide said something about going to her parents' spice shop, don't recall ever talking to her about that. So could be some massive misandry hit I missed.

Fairly certainly so. You travel around by ship a lot, so do the backer pirate parties, and they said the player home would be very specific to the setting this time.

Such a strange tranny relationship. Carry turns from an indian guy into whitish girl and has a husband that is also a Tranny.
Must be the inspiration for their Tranny game.
