I always liked Obsidian's dark plots. Seems like PoE2 won't follow the trend. Sad!
So...
Something attracting a lot of interest has arisen in the Deadfire archipelago, drawing the Vailian and Rauatai fleets there. They're locked in a standoff, currying favour with the local tribes in order to break it. This is related to an exploitable resource called "the luminous." Also, Eothas the god of light returns, and gods in general are playing their games with mortals.
The plot thickens.
Eh you can make just about any unique better than the soulbound items though sure you can't reach mythic quality but you white forging + legendary + other damage or speed on an item is awesome. As far as the +4 might there is one item for each of the stats that adds +4 to them that is not a weapon or an armor. So long as the answer is not "amnesia" I think I will be okay. I just don't want to lose Abydon's Hammer, because its awesome.
How and why would Eothas even be found in Deadfire Archipelago?
Was the bridge where he got blown the fuck out in the Deadfire? I don't think it was.

Beyond the stats, I just like the look and feel of the hammer. I think the lead up to the hammer was what made it fun to acquire, as opposed to St. Waiden Legacy and the power-up requirements.Eh you can make just about any unique better than the soulbound items though sure you can't reach mythic quality but you white forging + legendary + other damage or speed on an item is awesome.
