Enjoy the Revolution! Another revolution around the sun that is. I don't understand what he means by "two levels from Path of the Damned". I think the bonus PotD grants is larger than that.

its a glitch too because it doesnt show up in my 3.0 playthrough atm

Yes, something went wrong with my game when the beta patch was updated to 0.957, it didn't update properly or something, which caused this bug for me (and apparently couldn't leave at all the area I was in. No other area was available to travel)

He seems to be taking a page from the Pewdiepie book; making fairly standard gameplay seem exciting by having exaggerated reactions.

I think it looked pretty well. He is usually like that on streams, isn't he?

I was curious to see what his tactics in combat would be like. It was strange for me that he actually disperses the party a lot. I usually form a front line of 2 or 3 party members to protect the casters from being rushed.

They definitely seem to have upped their encounter-composing skills. A few strong melee characters controlled the space before their ranged units, making them more viable.

He was a bit more excited than usual this time. Maybe it was the stress of being underlevelled.

That mine level looked cool, though. Mine levels are an essential part of the Baldur's Gate 1 experience. :obviously:

Well, that was a pretty damn fun stream. We didn't really see that much of the expansion itself, but it was entertaining as hell. Josh micromanaging his party like crazy while on story mode was hilarious.

Yeah, the mine and the shop inside a round tent must have both been nods to the iE games.

thx. When I found it he was already in Q&A mode. Someone asked if he would date Roguey and I noticed him smile briefly when he saw it.

Funnier was him losing three member of his party in the first seconds of the Trollmaster fight. Especially "How high level is this guy?!".

I worry that Story Time might backfire by still being too hard; "I'm playing on the sit-back-and-enjoy-the-award-winning-story mode, but I'm still wiping on Xaurip battles" is probably not the kind of reaction you want to get from mainstream gamers.

He was on Hard when he wiped though. It was really a lot easier once he activated Story Time.

Also, I underestimated the work they put into that thing, not only are encounters easier in general, but they also get easier the closest you are to defeat or victory.

I don't know how it's possible to have trouble on something below easy. Like the AI should be able to win by itself at that point.

They should have just given the enemies 1 HP each for story mode, people who want to play aren't going anywhere near it anyway.

He activated Story Mode? I hope it's not because it was too hard for him...:lol::lol:

He lost half his party without reducing the number of foes on his first try and was pressed for time.

He would have been fine if he pulled the troll to the stairs away from the obvious ambush bridge.

Though the stream was pretty bad. Why were two rando fat dudes taking up half the screen being useless.

He said he was underleveled and didn't have the equipment he thought he had.

Apparently playing Pillars either requires a priest or equipment/consumables that replicate priest abilities.
