In 2009 the RTwPCodex voted DA:O best RPG of the year. KotC only got a few votes (including mine).

In real life Volourn can't write properly and can't grow a proper beard. He likes dwarves for their great beards and their high level of literacy.

It would explain why he can't type properly, small dwarven hands don't fit the keyboard properly.
