I have all my backup codes of every service in a single external HD, but I'm worried about it stopping working out of nowhere.
We still got RPGHQ ! In fact rusty was a visionary and saw it coming. Or was it all a conspiracy of his own doings ? Devious rusty...

I was going to say it's pretty embarassing to get hacked by some vatatrash on Codex...

But then I remembered my steam account was stolen by r*ssian hackers and sold to some Romanian female-pyro inflation fetishist.
Then again, I wasn't really using steam at the time, I discovered it so late the Romanian guy felt confident enough to start adding cash to the account to buy more TF2 items. I regained my account easily.

Classic Lagole.

Uh The Brazilian Slaughter, have you looked at your post history recently?
I just did, saw nothing strange.

Did something happen? Or is it already fixed?

MOTHERFUCKERS-

Can you guys recover them from server backups? Quality posting is hard work.

Also lmao at dudes getting their hands on my profile and the best they can do is... delete a few posts? No vandalizing my profile with affirmations that I am a faggot homo who loves cock? The fuck is this garbage quality troll hacking, russian hackers suck and are a bunch of niggers. Total amateur hour, but we're speaking of russian copers here.

Wow good job russian homos hacking a sixteen years old password that's so old it can sexually consent. You truly are the hacker know as 4chan.
I also changed my password for safety's sake, used a fresh new one. Let's see them pwn THAT one.
You cannot beat me snowniggers, I am THE Brazilian Slaughter!

What was the old password?

You can always print them out too.
Is it considered a bad security practice to store your printed out 2FA codes the same place you store your printed out passwords?

Yes. Never store passwords in a plain-text file. When you create them, write them down on paper first, then enter them into the text fields through an anti-keylogger interface. Never type them anywhere without said interface.

At least an e-mail address is a viable option, (for now).

Also lol at the Ukraine thread.

The site asked me to confirm the 2FA again, wtf. I thought I was supposed to be free from this shit for 30 days.

There has been a great desire for drama here, and now this incident happened. What an appropriate coincidence.

btw: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:10,000_most_common_passwords

My old password wasn't even on that list. Hackers are pretty advanced these days. Fortunately, the codex was the last place I had been using that password, so I should now be safe forever.
I have been using the same password variation since I first made an account on Poptropica back when I was 6 or 7.

I haven't been on the site for a few days and I get greeted to a message that says "Your IP address has been banned." So then I change my IP address and then get forced to sign up for 2FA. How many more hoops are you going to make me jump through?

Strap Yourselves In
Vatnik sperg compromises several users' accounts, deletes all their posts, makes the entire site run like shit and turns every thread they've ever posted in into gobbledygook and forces the moderators to CLEAN IT UP JANNIES for an eternity before they introduce 2FA to stop it from happening and all half of this thread can do is rage at the Codex and not direct their hatred at a retarded sperg and his cheerleaders who take conversations on the internet so seriously that he'd sabotage the entire website to get rid of opposing opinions. Epic.

Do you recommend any good anti-keylogger?

This sucks ass...

Obviously being sane, i am not going to give my phone # to the codex. But most email providers (e.g. Gmail, Yahoo, etc) now also demand a phone number to set up a new account, so you are kinda fucked. As I mentioned to Infinitron, for some strange reason codex bans all Proton emails (which is a Swiss email service that values privacy and doesn't require phone numbers). Finally found another service that doesn't require phone #s.

1. Somebody not logged in can see all forum posts. Somebody logged in without 2FA cannot. Where the fuck is the sense in that?
2. Yet again vatniks suck ass. Codex should join The Ukraine and go conquer Moscow just for this shit. Spray paint 2FA on Putler's ugly face.
3. With shoutbox gone, and 2FA enabled, one cannot help but ask what's next? Are we going to have biometrics to log in? Perhaps a sphincter scan?

This is really dumb. It's turning me off to the site. I'm not logging my phone number here, so I i have to go through my email each time. Using my phone number for 2FA would actually make my account less secure, as it would now have information that would bother me getting passed around. Please eliminate it.
