Rat Simulator is a survival stealth role-playing simulator game set in a suburban neighborhood where you play as a rat to spread the plague across the neighborhood in order to build a rat's paradise.

No longer do you need to wonder what they get up to when humans are around, as this state-of-the-art computer simulation models the complete rat experience. I don't know what to think, it does look cool, and the little rat definitely won me over, but Steam says this game doesn't look like other things I've played in the past and as such they don't have much information on whether or not I might be interested in this game, so I'm still on the fence.

I might just check this out for the princely sum of 5.39, or perhaps wait for the inevitable 2-3 Codex reviews first. The controls cannot possibly be worse than other bad sim games like I am Bread or Goat Simulator.

Please understand the game is still in Early Access, although I think it looks quite polished so far. The devs say they hope to finish the game by Late 2017. They are going to add more features, like Female human characters. I'm not sure it's necessary, but I'll take it as an extra.

In Cattails, the player takes the role of a feral cat that roams an expansive open land. The player hunts for food, combats cats from other colonies, and develops valuable relationships. The player can also romance one of many eligible cats and raise a family!
