Inevitable delay incoming.
That's a 2018 release for sure.

Screw the election, I'm more excited for this.

Do you think this is Dutch Van Der Linde's gang in it's heyday, or a whole new crew?

“All we can say is that whenever it is viable (technically, developmentally and business-wise) for us to release a game for PC (or any other particular platform) – we will and we usually do; unfortunately, that is just not the case 100% of the time for all platforms.”

Looks like a repeat of GTA V. PC version will follow something like a year later 'cause it's being ported by a different R* studio.

You mean like the first Red Dead Redemption?

No reason this time not to port RDR2 to PC. I heard Red 1 never happened because the RAGE engine at that time was so screwy that it wasn't worth the effort.

:D This is hilarious, people are freaking out over console-only. History is repeating itself.

The morons not realizing they are being baited, will get the game on consoles. Some retards will even buy a console for this.
Game gets great reviews and circlejerks will be circlejerked, as with GTA V.

Then the Xbox Scorpio and Playstation Neo are launched, conveniently not too long after the release of RDR2...
Enter "Red Dead Redemption 2: Enhanced Edition". Requires a Neo/Scorpio, due to graphical improvements.
Morons will take the bait, double-dipping after watching bullshots.

A year or so later, PC release. "We cared about you all along PC Gamers!!! :^)"
The consumer-slaves will of course be receptive for the marketing. "4K! 60FPS!"

Thus they fall yet again for the legendary ROCKSTAR TRIPLE-DIP. War never changes.

Apart from the obvious double dipping, someone posted this on reddit:

Guess it could explain some things if true. Sounds like a shitty place to work in general.

Western games are rarer than modern western movies. Before this, there was what, Outlaws?

And GTA / Assassin's Creed type games are dumb, but are fun and can be educational.

Basically, if it feels good, do it.
