A shitty outdated console title gets ported to a superior platform years later only so people like you can ruin their own gaming experience by putting it on a shitty outdated handheld.

Gaming is dead.
It has ultrawide support too so I have options on where I can play it. Definitely want to see how it looks at 90fps on a handheld.

"Gaming is dead. Gaming remains dead. And we have killed it. How shall we console ourselves, the destroyers of all that was gaming? What was most engaging and captivating of all that the world has yet experienced has ceased to exist under our actions: what can we do to make amends? What solutions shall we create? Is not the magnitude of this deed too significant for us? Must we not ourselves become the ultimate gamers, simply to seem worthy of it?"

A 2070 for a video game from 2010. Jesus, jeets really can't code for shit. Why not emulate at that point?

yeah, why not?

We just need two generation newer CPU and more powerful GPU from next generation as well. Oh, and 50% more RAM please. We will give you "non-emulated" version allright. :mixedemotions:

I bought it on Steam this morning and refunded it. Later I download the Razor version and it's a better experience. Framegen works correctly in Razor's release (in the Steam version it doesn't cap the fps to ~3 below your refresh rate in conjunction with Nvidia Low Latency). Also the game quits to the desktop almost instantly, while in the legit version it would make me sit at a black screen until a crash error popped up. This shit isn't worth 50 bucks when all they did for PC was add DLSS and HDR.

Looks better than the original and runs like a rocket. DLSS/FSR native is there for AA smoother than FXAA. HDR too. My monitor is 170hz but there seems to be a hard framerate cap of 144 (not that I can tell the difference)

It seems you haven't been keeping up with GTA 4 modding. FusionFix has been expanded a while back to include new AA options and more.

I know about FusionFix. It included 2x2 Supersampling, which is not the same. I could already downsample it before FusionFix to get the same thing. DLAA is a fraction of performance cost and actually deals with shimmering better.

Anyway, just tried RDR for a bit, it runs pretty well on my i5 8400 and RTX 3060. Can run 4K DLAA maxed at 60 FPS with only rare drops to 58 when turning camera around fast. Those are either due to CPU or V Sync. So I guess recommended GPU requirement is actually for 4K. Draw distance seems really good, not seeing any pop-in. I doubt this is how it was in original console versions.

Runs like a dream on Steam Deck. Cap it at 45fps on OLED for 3 hours battery life. 40fps on LCD for 2 hours battery life.
