The AI should be a little more aggressive now as previously discussed.

I admit sales have not been everything i've expected.
But many codexers already bought the game back in Early Access.
Whether they think it got better since then we may never.

I think Moonrise did a great job on the article. I wasn't sure what to expect.

Moonrise definitely did a good job. The review made me buy the game, and at a full price. I've got a soft spot for one-man ambitious projects and like to see them succeed. Hope with the future patches and fixes you manage to move closer to your initial vision!

I guess I will take this moment to say today's patch added some neat stuff.
Big buildings you can walk into and explore. They have some WIP lore caches.

Everyday is a struggle. But the game keeps getting better so i'm not going to stop.

Yep a character loosely based on Scroo-scum. However Coosger may be a more fit representation of who you're thinking of.

Originally Scroozeleah was going to have an npc form that did all the actions implied by the backstory and slowly built up her agenda all the way to the final conflict between the factions.

However I ran out of time and it violated solid RPG rules to make a playable PC be so relevant to the story.

AS of now it's more passively assumed she's doing damage to the future of the three races.

Not to get too big brained here, but ethnic groups may be a better description for the factions.
Hybrids are basically a mix of the arrogance of humanity with the demand for unity the Robots have.

Allow me to analogize things to the Matrix. In the Matrix the robots (referred to as the machines),
enslave humanity as batteries. This was their idea of unity.

Coincidentally Lagorigana was founded on the concept that WORK is UNITY.
Maybe not quite that blunt in its original decalaration but to the same effect.

However the game is described as being about group rights.
This is to mean even the Robots have evolved to have a compassion for how they are treated.

TL;DR every faction was suppose to be sentient but there are a lot of issues that cannot be addressed
when mere "work" is the only thing holding society together.
Jrah himself (one of the PCs) is described as tired from a life of work.

Really all 3 characters were going to have their own storyline per their race.
But the pet RogRog was going to be neutral to the other PCs.

Your job would be to pick who to side with by the end.

Now if you played as non-RogRog, RogRog would automatically have loyalty to you.
As you can see it would be a mess.

Each PC would effectivley have gotten a different story which would have killed immersion more than helped it.

By buying the game you give me more time to flesh out all these subjects better.

Yesterday I started moving lore caches into the game. These mostly focused on hints about the technological artifact
that enabled the founding of Lagorigana. Also things like what the ancient civilization(s) have to say about its use.

This game looks like the "Visionary Artist" was on drugs, or is already so insane that he doesn't need drugs anymore. That or somebody wants to milk the "Cruelty Squad" crowd some more.

While that game isn't RPG, it has similar "indie graphic" style, with similar "visionary" behind it.

Everyday it is a battle to not just give up entirely. I have extreme lows and it would be easier on me to give up now.
But as I was browsing through my code and I rediscovered the game's enormous potential.

You gave it to me as a gift, so I thank you, but if you want to take it away I can't stop you. I suspect your sour opinion(s) will change once I add some proper backstabbing quests to the game.

Could you elaborate? Is it because I'm not shilling? I honestly don't think your game is worth purchasing and I wrote such opinion so as to inform my friends. I do it with basically all the games I play on Steam. Most reviews are ignored by devs, a few % has comments, but in general they take my reviews in good faith. Some ask further questions for feedback (which sometimes I've give, like to you, othertimes ignored if I thought it's not worth my time). One dev asked me if I can take down the review because it's in EA, so I agreed until his game is in final release version. I must say not a single person ever seemed butthurt that somebody didn't like their game and took it so personally and were so angry (and you keep being butthurt for days) or threatened to ban my game key.

I'd ask everyone to look at the huge difference between what he wrote as review and the elaborations he gave on the forum.

Kony I've tried to be charitable. I've even marked one of your comments as an answer to the discussion I linked.
