The number of average votes per voter is 25,5. Its pretty clear that barely anyone here plays that many games and that most of the votes are by retards with second hand opinions. The list with the individual user votes is somewhat useful, its just a shame that many users that actually play games are missing.

Playing 100+ games a year is an absurd expectation, let alone playing 100+ RPGs. Plus most people don't just exclusively play new releases. So it shouldn't be a surprised there's "only" 25.5 votes per voter (I guarantee you the average player has not even finished 25 2023 releases, not even close).

You misunderstood me. I absolutely don't think or expect that people play 100 games, I meant exactly the opposite. The 25,5 is surprisingly high. That would mean that the average voter has finished a rpg from this year every two weeks on average. I don't doubt that there are a few people here who may manage that many games or even more, but I find it unlikely for an average, based on my general impression of forum activity.

I'd like to know too. I can already tell I didn't vote on JA3 as I was waiting for it to be fully patched. It must be full of 1s for BG3 with 4 or 5s for Cave of Lore, Colony Ship, and Jagged Alliance 3, while most people who rated BG3 highly gave fair ratings to everyone.

When player IQ is low, but character IQ is high, how does that work? What this produces is a limitation of the player on your character.
I'm anti-charismatic in real life, I can't play high CHA characters in pnp when the DM's style is "you can't declare an action, you have to roleplay it". It's a bane of all introverts.

DM: "Your character tries to lift 20kg stone blocking your path, roll a 3d6+Strength to pass DC16" If you answer with "But I can lift 20kg stone in real life why would I need to roll dice" you are kicked out of the game and never invited again.

I voted BG3 as a 3, which I think was fairly generous of me, but I also can't really bring myself to dislike it. So I don't think I have a BG3 agenda.

I don't think 3/5 counts as approval, it's a 'meh' vote. 4 and 5 are actual positive votes, which I think is what should count as "I approve of this as goty".
