We could have both, though. Edited version to be posted as site content, and the original transcript by Radek in the thread.

Look, let me give you an example:

There was... I was... I would say, I was angry to an extent, because it was frustrating.

You can't be seriously telling me that this could not have been edited to...

I would say, I was angry to an extent, because it was frustrating.

...for fear of getting blacklisted by Obsidian. You guys are not making any sense.

The version of the interview we got is full of examples like that. If there are some sentences you are not sure you can edit safely, then don't. But what about the rest of them?

Anyway, I don't mean to make a fuss. But the end product is not very good and I thought I should let you know.

This must be why they lose contracts.

They all sound like that in SoCal.
Tim Cain doesn't sound nearly as bad, though. It's very weird, because it seems (at least to me) to change under different circumstances. I can't find it right now, but there's one specific interview where MCA sounded like a valley girl from films. Maybe he was drunk or mocking the interview out of boredom, I don't know.

This must be why they lose contracts.
I do think it makes a big difference. Imagine Feargus trying to explain to Microsoft people why Stormlands looked like shit.
"I, I...you know, it's..like...like the director decided to flesh it out and...and..like..."

Now look at Ray Muzyka, for instance, which wasn't even a particularly eloquent CEO in the same industry.

Meh. I do think he is doing damn good job for a guy who became a CEO basically by accident.

I'm not sure, but I think itis someone from Obsidiane, someone told me it's accent of some state.
Terrible thing, the same as sounds of gnashing of foam plastic on the asphalt.

We can only speculate about his job. I was talking about how he speaks.

Posting to thank Jedi Master Radek and Codex staff for bringing us these interviews. The most I got to say to these guys was "Pillars was awesome!"(an unpopular Codex opinion) to Josh as we walked by each other very briefly in a corridor.

Good stuff! :brodex:

Good god, good job on the questions JMR, but can the admins link the edited version on the front page? I read the original one with "like" every other word and a lot of erm's and ah's and it wasn't pretty.

Feargus Urquhart Interview: Donald Trump Edition

THE KICKSTARTER GOAL FOR PILLARS 2 JUST GOT 10K HIGHER
We're gonna... you know... [laughs] make a huge RPG... [laughter?] and we're gonna make Bethesda pay for it!

This new video game, this new RPG, the Codexers, they love me, they want it to happen. I want it to happen. It's gonna be yuge, this RPG. We're gonna stop Todd Howard, that's step number one. And Bethesda employees, they love me. We're gonna make a deal with them, and this game, it will be yuge. I love the RPG Codex.

I want to give Josh that opportunity to go make a turn-based game.
That means the game Cain and Boyarsky are working on isn't turn-based.

You can also expect that their first turn-based game will be by JES, which means at the very earliest after Eternity 2, so basically either it's far away or it's never gonna happen.

To be 100% honest, I was dissapointed on how rattled and random he was. I think it's reflective of how he is as a CEO. People will tell on themselves if you listen.
