Not enough hate. There is never enough hate anymore. I reckon somebody should bring back Hitler.

You can make a ten times better game than Infinite from a story written in this review.

Wait, is Bioshock Infinite an RPG or is the Codex just grabbing for page views? :?

The current administration wants it to be more mainstream clearly. They even edited "nigger" out of my comment under the Expedition: Conquistadores feature.
How will you ever be able to discuss video game mechanics under such stifling PC thought police?

Please, I go to SA for that. On the Codex I just want the ability to post about niggers wherever I desire. Is that really too much to ask for?

I guess DMT, LSD or other funny substances are required to comprehend this.. As a shooter, this game is way too easy on hard.. More Halo2 like difficulty : x

Entertaining read. Though, I'm not sure it had much to learn beyond "It's BioShock, but with a stilted attempt at being open world."

Watched the ending -- why are so many people confused about it? It's basically The Butterfly Effect. Tho the part after the credits doesn't make sense to me other than "BUT WHAT IF!???" but then again I didn't play the game, so eh.

The part after the credits isn't a what if. By killing yourself right before your own baptism in the alternative universe where you become Comstock, it means that Comstock (you) never creates Columbia, never invents the technology to travel to other universes, never travels to the alternative universe where you have a baby girl, and never steals your baby to make her into Elizabeth. So, the last scene is you in that alternative universe realizing you still have your baby. It's not explained why this alternate version of you is so surprised to hear the baby's voice, though, considering that version of you would have no idea the danger that was avoided.

So what's the big shocker then? That he retains some memory of having been Comstock?

Insert clever insult here
Great review. Good to see that gaming journalism hasn't changed, creaming their pants over a shitty Looper/Butterfly Effect clone and calling it Citizen Kane.

Nice job, castanova :salute:

Nicely written. I'll even skip bitching about this not being an RPG.

Oh wait, I just did.

Still, good job regardless. :salute:

I'm not totally sure but I think people were "shocked" that you ARE Comstock and that you have to kill yourself to break the cycle. Even though they clearly foreshadow the "twist" about an hour before the end of the game.

Oh. Ok. Thanks for the clarification. That became pretty obvious once the whole finger-argument went on, and altogether too obvious when she actually lost it as a baby.

Just watched the ending on youtube. I'd be pissed if I had actually played the game. Is it explained why killing Booker/Comstock at the baptism destroys him in every dimension, but killing him at other times doesn't?

Wow don't you know anything about time travel? Everyone knows that baptism... Oh wait.

I just read up on the plot on wikipedia. Um. Ok. Confusing piece of shit alternate dimension wankery. Truly an amazing story.

EDIT: checked some lp on yt. Where does Elizabeth keep finding salts/ammo/stuff all the time? Is everything in this game one long QTE?
