Bethesda feels that turn-based role-playing works better on portable than real-time, hence the decision to go with a new take on Fallout Tactics.

This is a bold new approach, can fallout work in turn based?
This just proves that bethesda is a revolutionary developer.

You guys are funny. You raged that Fallout 3 was no longer TB/ISO, but now, when there's a chance that you may be finally getting a TB/ISO Fallout game, you rage again.

It's no wonder that no publisher in their right mind will listen to your bullshit. Seriously, you people will always find a reason to bitch and moan about something.

You'd get bored if it was any other way.

It's cute that they think the slower gameplay style works better on a mobile platform while the faster gameplay style works better on stationary platforms. :philosoraptor:

Turn based games are successful on mobile platforms (pokemon being the #1 example) because they let you play a little every now and then, it's not that strange.

There are several quality TB games in development for iPhone and the business for hit sellers is good. I'm considering getting one just for developing games/apps for iPhone. Actually I'm not considering any more. Sometime in summer, I plan to get one and fully commit to developing for it.

Decline.

It's not a love affair, it's purely professional. Very low time/money investment for fast returns and a high potential for significant profits. And if it means that I can also play some of the good stuff that happens to be made for iPhone, yay! Otherwise, I would be embarrassed to be seen with that piece of shit in my hand. Unless I were to meet a smoking hot mactard (an iphone ain't no slipper), so it might be handy to carry both that and whatever else I'm using as my default handset, just in case.

That's it, I'm buying an Iphone when my current plan with Bell expires.

I fucking hate Apple and especially their fans, but at least the Iphone has the best smartphone software library.
