A whole bunch of KSes ran with family/friend units.
There is a difference of having less that 10 people and having over 200 employers.
It looks inappropriate to investors because they will see it as you putting your family on the payroll and if they have qualifications, thats the end of it but what if they dont? this is a sign of how the company will be managed ... small business is lesser issue because that is not really viewed as much of a issue but on larger company when hiring family and friends for key positions? will that not be the norm on hiring practices and doesnt that implies the qualifications take a backseat in terms of having a personal relationship with the company managers?
This is why it looks inappropriate to set your family in management positions and CIG isnt a family restaurant.
